Dove: On that note... are you actually capable of healing eyes that are pretty much completely destroyed?

L u c i f e r frowns, and stares at dove with his sane eye
L u c i f e r: ...what happened?
Dove: Lucifer, please promise me...
L u c i f e r: I can't promise something before I am told what the hell is going on, dove!
L u c i f e r is getting nervous here
Dove hesitates for a moment longer, swallowing first and finding his words
Dove: During your absence, there's been an incident regarding Ace. She lost her right eye, and it's damaged up to a point where I can't heal it. It's too complicated for my capabilities, and... she lost sight in that eye. I cannot restore it for her, at most I could prevent an infection and lessen her pain. Currently she's in her room, refusing to come out.
L u c i f e r his tone drops a couple octaves as he speaks
L u c i f e r: who was it?
Dove: Raven got to her...
L u c i f e r stands up, walking fast now he's feeling better and goes to Ace's room, literally kicking the door open
Ace : seeing Lucifer, she lets out a yelp and hides herself under her blankets, only her fingers poking out as she clenches the fabric
meanwhile Dove awkwardly stumbles after the newly invigorated Lucifer
L u c i f e r: Come out of there right now, little girl, I am going to heal that eye of yours and make it better!
Ace: Please, just leave it alone! Dove said the same thing and nothing happened. I don't want to go through this anymore...
Dove: -talking in a hushed voice-... she's been like that since the incident. Raven really got to her...
L u c i f e r: I am not asking you, if you don't come here, I'll tie you to a chair and do it anyways, Dove's Dove but I am the fucking ruler of hell, Anne, so don't be stupid!
L u c i f e r is actually really angry, is going to have a serious talk with Dove later
Dove: Ace, please, just do as he says. He can help you better than I can...
Ace : it takes a while longer for the shaking heap to finally come out from under the blankets, but eventually a face pops up, one eye puffy and wet with tears, the damaged eye hidden behind bandages. There was basically nothing left of the eye, as Raven had made sure to cut deeply, breaking not only the eye but the whole nerve system behind it
L u c i f e r: Lucifer approaches her, and tears off the bandages using his sharp nails. The demon sat by her side and growled
L u c i f e r: I am going to kill him. I don't give a fuck about your late master, her wishes and all that shit Dove, this has gone too far
Ace : Lucifer's aggressive behavior only works to get Ace bursting into tears further, sobbing loudly and trying to shy away further. She herself was completely fed up with demons by now and just wanted to be left alone.
Dove in the meantime nods in understanding at Lucifer
Dove: I'm not stopping you this time, I myself want to see him dead no matter how it happens.
L u c i f e r: I'll do it, I swear.
L u c i f e r makes a face, and ushes Ace down to lay on the bed, covering her to the neck, running his hands through her hair in a soothing manner
L u c i f e r: calm down sweetheart. I am going to get rid of him and heal you up, you'll see even better from that eye when I am done with it.
Ace : through her sobbing and a quivering lip, she nods a little. Although she still cannot help the shaking. After the whole ordeal with Raven all over again, anyone approaching her caused this reaction out of her. Dove had already healed her hands which were pierced with daggers to pin her to the wall, but fixing an eye was a whole other case.
Sadly, despite Dove's own restorative system which could patch him up even without his control, he could not fix others in the same manner.
L u c i f e r: Now, i want you to lay down and relax, okay? I'll fix it up but i's going to hurt a bit...
L u c i f e r looks at dove
L u c i f e r: hand me a knife
Ace: Kn-knife?! N-nonononononoooo!
Dove: ... Should I put her to sleep first?
Dove may have to, as Ace begins struggling just at the mention of a knife
L u c i f e r: No, it's for me, not you

Ace: despite knowing that fact, she still becomes pale as a ghost seeing the object in Dove's hand as he passes it to Lucifer
L u c i f e r: the man cuts the palm of his hand and holding ace's face still, he pours some of his blood on the hollow eye, then presses the injured palm on it
L u c i f e r: this is going to hurt like a motherfucker but look at me, I need to watch the sane eye to do an exact replica of the colour, or it'll end up blue like mine
Ace : easier said than done. It does indeed hurt badly, and she ends up screaming out loud, squirming and clawing at the palm Lucifer keeps pressed to her eye and clenching the other shut as it tears up from the agonizing pain.
meanwhile Dove seems to be getting antsy too, seeing her in this situation
L u c i f e r: calm down Ace! be strong for god's sake
L u c i f e r doesn't let go of her and fuck shit, if she doesn't let him visually copy the colour, she is going to have to cope with heterochromatic eyes from now on
Dove: Dove approaches her and holds her down by her arms to give Lucifer space to heal her without her getting in the way. Although he cannot pry her other eye open with her fussing like that.
Ace: Let gooo, it-- hng--it huuurts!
L u c i f e r: of course it hurts, I am reconstructing a damned eye
Dove: It's okay dear-- we'll be done soon and everything will be fine again, just open your eye--
Ace: C-can't-- I can't-- just-- nevermind the color, nevermind! Please hurry!
L u c i f e r huffs and presses his other palm to her face, to the dead eye, and after five minutes more of agony he sits back on the bed, gasping
Dove: responding immediately, Dove sets out to share what little energy he has with Lucifer to atleast refill his reserves a little.
Ace herself is gasping, more exhausted with her own fussing and the pain she endured
L u c i f e r raises his glance to look at her and groans
L u c i f e r: god damn it, it's light-blue like mine
Ace: I-it's... it's okay... Please leave it be... I don't want any more of this....
Ace : her voice is soft, trembling slightly
Dove: For now she has an eye, don't overdo it Lucifer. You are too exhausted to keep this up... If she wants, perhaps we can try to fix it at a later time.
L u c i f e r: Hm. How does it feel, Ace?
L u c i f e r asks, hoping he did an okay job at it
Ace : It's... weird... I can see things... like... it's different than before. Even before I lost my eye. The colors and everything, and well... It feels weird. Doesn't really hurt, but it feels weird. I-I can't explain.
Ace : she looks at Lucifer and blinks, tears welling up again. She's not so sure whether she's happy or upset right now with the sudden huge changes lately. She has a better eye than the one she lost, and yet she's not taking the difference too well yet.
L u c i f e r: Probably you see stuff the way I do, now. It's better that way to be honest...
Ace : This is how you see things all the time? huh... it really is different... Not a bad kind of different I suppose... It's just weird to see everything so brightly and vibrant with my right eye when before that everything had gone dark.
Dove: Perhaps Lucifer's vision is even stronger as your new eye had to adapt to the rest of your still human body. It truly does /appear/ like an exact copy of his eye though.
Ace : that last comment actually causes a little smile to escape her, and she sniffs a couple of times while wiping her eyes clean. She had always found Lucifer's eyes beautiful. So to know she had an eye like that as well now, instead of what was left of her own eye, which looked more like a bloody hole... Well it made the situation a bit better for her already.
L u c i f e r: It's kind of strange...
L u c i f e r materializes a mirror and gives it to her
Ace : she takes the mirror, her hand still trembling slightly but gradually getting better. Upon seeing the heterochromatic eyes, the pale blue one even having that slit, cat-like pupil Lucifer and Dove have, both eyes widen.
Ace | Dove: A: ... Woah, it really does look strange!
L u c i f e r: you have Lucifer eye
L u c i f e r smiles lightly, to the healthy side of his face
Ace : she giggles and puffs up her chest proudly.
Ace: I'm honored! I'll be a lot more careful with this eye, I really don't want to go through that agai--n... What happened to /you/ actually?
L u c i f e r: I got in a fight with lots of seraphim
Ace: A-Are you okay? I'm so sorry I made you waste your energy on me when you need it yourself!
L u c i f e r: bleh, it's going to take a while in healing soI don't mind
L u c i f e r makes a dismissive motion with his hand
L u c i f e r: you needed it more
Ace: I shouldn't have gone back to my old alley without escort. Raven knew I used to live there, he probably waited for me to come. it's my fault...
L u c i f e r: It's his fault for being a son of a bitch

Dove: On that note, there is something else I need to discuss with you later, Lucifer. For now, I think we all could use rest.
L u c i f e r makes a face, pushes Ace down onto the bed
L u c i f e r: you sleep. Amael will be back soon, I crossed him on my way back
Ace: ... I'm not sure how Amael will react to this eye.
Dove: Now that I think about that... would she be capable of looking into Amael's eyes with her right eye now?
L u c i f e r: .... yes, basically. The eye would keep it from frying her brain
Ace: I-I can see Amy's eyes? When's he coming home?! I want to surprise him! Oh gosh--
Dove: Calm down, this is quite big news, don't give your brother a heart attack
L u c i f e r: He should be back in three...
a loud crash is heard when Amael enters through the door by breaking it, huge golden wings extended and a sheepish smile on his face, sunglasses on
cue Dove merely blinking at Amael's entrance, whereas Ace finally shows a very bright smile again at the sight of her brother.
Amael: Turns to look at her and freezes when he focuses his glance on her eyes
Ace : now it's her turn to smile sheepishly. Dove's glance is a little more serious as he switches between his two 'little ones'
Ace: I guess we both look a little different from last time we saw each other.
Amael: finally looks like an adult, but well, a little bigger. As tall as Lucifer is, his hair tied in a braid since it reaches past his waist
Ace : meanwhile Ace hasn't changed all that much. Maybe her hair had grown a little longer and messier and was due for a cut. And well... her eye.
Despite still being exhausted from the ordeal, she pulls aside the sheets and hops out of bed, wobbling a little as she walks over to Amael, giving her dear brother a tight hug.
Ace: I missed you so much...
Amael: helps, approaching her quickly when she stands out of bed, closing his eyes and sighing, he had missed his little sister a lot too
Amael: what's with your eye, Acey?
Ace: Well... it's... not quite my eye. Here let me show you something...
Ace : covering her own green and brown eye with a hand, she pulls Amael's shades off his face and looks up at him.
Amael: shakes his head, scared he'll hurt her
Amael: n-no... what if, Ace...
Ace: Amy, trust me... mom and dad would've stopped me if they weren't sure about this. Look at me.
Amael: open his eyes slowly, looking into her blue eye
Ace : she smiles softly at first, that smile gradually becoming wider. She could feel a small tugging at her head, but she was still alive! And seeing those beautiful lilac eyes of her dear brother.
Ace: They really do look beautiful... your eyes.
Amael bursts in tears, really can't believe it
Ace: A-Amy? Did I make you cry? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to--
L u c i f e r: Lucifer approaches and pats Amael's back
L u c i f e r: I think he's just happy, Ace
Dove in the meantime seems to smile as well finally. Although he still feels horrible over the fact he let it get this far that Ace lost her eye, the fact she could now finally look at her brother was remarkable.
Ace: Aw jeez, do you really have to cry, you're making me cry as well, silly... You know I'm happy... I may have lost my eye, but this is better. I can finally look at my brother-- well as long as I keep my other eye closed.
L u c i f e r: what about you wear an eye patch at home?
Ace: Eye patch... I get to be a pirate?!
L u c i f e r chuckles and nods, patting her head
L u c i f e r: a pirate with awesome blue eye
Dove: Dove joins Lucifer's chuckles and nods
Dove: I must say, your eyes are even more striking than they already were~
Ace: I suppose I can switch them around. Here at the palace and our house on Earth I can wear the eye patch over my normal eye so Amy won't accidentally kill me. And when I go outside, I can wear it over the blue eye so I won't freak out anyone.
Amael: so I'll be able to go sunglass-less around the house
Ace : well, that about makes up Ace's mind that this eye is in fact a good thing that happened to her, and it made enduring all this pain worth it.
For the longest time she had wished for Amael to feel comfortable around her, and now it was actually possible. Almost tearing up again in excitement, she clings to her brother and stuffs her face into his chest
Amael: pats Ace's head, wipes the remaining tears off his eyes
Amael: But... your eye, you still didn't tell me what happened
Ace: Oh... uhm... I-it's not important. What really matters is that I can safely see your eyes now, right?
Amael: you stuttered, sister
Ace : pouts and kicks her feet on the ground like a stubborn child
Ace: It's just... well losing an eye is never pretty, I don't want to worry you.
Amael pinches her cheek and pulls it
Amael: i want to know. tell me
Ace: hnnng--ffffine. Butyouhaftapromisenottogointorage-mode
Amael: you cannot make me promise something I'll probably won't be able to fulfill!
Ace: Just don't do anything stupid. Mom and dad will take care of it-- and let go of my cheek--
Amael smiles and does that, sitting on the bed
Ace : she herself plops down again, tired and still getting used to her new vision. Apparently her body had to adapt to the eye a little. And maybe she had looked into Amael's eyes just slightly too soon.
Ace: There's a demon who really, really hates me. He uhm... cornered me and stabbed my eye out...
Amael hisses, baring his fangs
Amael: I'm going to eat that bastard alive
Ace: Amy... please calm down... pretty much everyone here in the room wants him dead, and like I said, it's gonna be taken care of... I don't want any more drama about this than I already caused.
Amael: but i want to but his head. It's my right
Ace: Just... first calm down, it's not going to do you any good to upset yourself over it... and to be honest, it's upsetting me as well...
Ace : after all, it only helped to remind her of everything that happened recently
Amael: puffs his cheeks out, annoyed, and folds his arms
Ace: Amy... I know you're upset, you're not the only one. Sure it was hell until just today, but hey... I can look at your eyes now!
Amael: I... guess you're right
Ace: don't mind her suddenly bursting out crying finally and clinging tightly to Amael. Today has been emotional for all of them
Amael: pats her back, smiling softly
Dove: joins as well, sitting down at their side. Raven was going to pay for this, there was no denying that. So for now he'd put his focus on comforting Ace.
Ace: It all just happens so fast...
L u c i f e r: at least now you're able to be on both our worlds. Ace, in public, don't cover your eye. I'll make some magic that will make humans see it on the same hue as the other, but it would be good if you have it
L u c i f e r: because now your perception of supernatural is greater
Ace: You mean... I can see the difference like Dove and you can?
L u c i f e r nods, smiling slightly
Ace: Oh wait is that the difference in colors and such that I'm seeing? I mean, my vision is pretty weird when I look through the blue eye
Amael: you see the world the way mum does. He has very sharp senses, human eyes are dull
Ace: You can say that again. Everything is way more clear and bright and colored way more beautifully. 't least I think so...
Amael nods, smiling a bit wider
L u c i f e r: you'll be able to notice if someone's not human now.
Ace: I guess that really is useful. Although in Raven's case, I already knew fully well what he was... But I couldn't stop him, and he blocked me from calling dad for help...
L u c i f e r: with this, probably you'll be able to feel me close or something. I basically cloned my eye on your eyesocket
Ace: Maybe that's the weird feeling I've been getting then... Like I said, it doesn't hurt or anything, but it feels unusual.
Ace: Wait but if this eye is sort of linked with you since you cloned your own eye... do you get that feeling as well then when I'm close to you?
L u c i f e r: always get it since I am able to feel you, Dove or Amael, sweetheart *laughs*

Ace: Oh yeah... right. It's just weird to me cause I could never sense you near. Only Dove, because of our contract. Whenever he's near, my chest feels a little heavier. It's not really a burden though, no worries.
Ace : and she was right to mention those last words, as already Dove was frowning and about to apologize, intending to fix the seal up better
L u c i f e r: I understand. We demons are just able to feel a person's presence, so it's not exactly the same thing
Ace: Well I have a demon eye now, but for the rest I'm still human after all. It's fine, I just need to get used to this eye and then I'll at least be able to pick out supernatural beings from the rest.
L u c i f e r: it's not that hard. Supernatural beings will glow a soft red, it's not that hard to spot on if you practice
Ace: Soft red... noted. What about humans and angels? And is there a difference based on power or rank or anything?
L u c i f e r: yes, there's a huge difference. For example, higher demons like me, are able to hide it... So you'll only have to rely on your gut feeling, you’ll know there's something wrong with them anyways
L u c i f e r: and angels are generally a soft blue
Ace: It sounds logical. I mean I'm not really seeing a particular red glow nor a blue one around you guys, but things still look a little different around you. Like, there's /something/ but it's not really a glow. More like the colors are somewhat distorted. It's really faint...
Ace tries squinting her eyes a bit as if it makes things better, but not much changes.
L u c i f e r: smiles and releases his control over the aura, Amael does the same, and it would probably be really bright for her. Lucifer's was a weird lilac color, and Amael was mostly red
Dove: noticing the others release their control over their aura, joins in. His own aura appears to be deep red in color, signifying he was truly a demon.
With all these powerful auras at once, Ace can't help but squint even further, keeping an arm nearby in case it becomes too much for her and she needs to shield her eye
Dove: It can be quite overwhelming... Perhaps now you understand why I tend to wear glasses in crowds. I do not only strongly see the auras of supernatural beings, but those of humans as well.
L u c i f e r: I can actually dampen the effects of that only by wishing. I'll teach you how to when you get used to them, meanwhile you should use glasses like dove, sweetheart
