Pairing: Senju Itama/Uchiha Izuna
Notes: There a still a few requests in my inbox, but somehow I'm never satisfied with what I wrote. I'm definitely gonna work of on them, but focus more on some other stuff first (still Naruto, don't worry). This is from my AnM Verse.
When Izuna was younger Madara told him in secret that he didn’t give up on peace with their enemies and still met up with Hashirama behind their fathers back. Izuna was angry and confused about it, not understanding why Madara would do that and had asked him about it.
“Because it’s possible.” Madara said. “He is the proof we need that it is possible.”
He immediately understood who his brother was talking about. The strange Uchiha no one in their clan knew of, before he knew it was Kagami from the future. He saved several children from both the Senjus and Uchihas without any discrimination. His younger brothers included. He was the one who stopped all of them from fighting during their confrontation at the river.
The things he talked about didn’t make sense to him so he didn’t pay any mind to it, yet it seemed Madara and the Senju boy understood him given how shocked they were. But even when his older brother had hoped for it, Izuna couldn’t trust the Senjus.
If someone told him that he would get injured for protecting a Senju, Tobirama of all people, he would laugh at them and then set them on fire. But that's exactly what happened. And now he was being carried like a sack of potatoes on his former rival's shoulder.
“I can walk on my own.” Izuna grumbled.
“And risk your injury more?” Tobirama raised a brow at him before looking straight up ahead again. “My brother is gonna be insufferable when he finds out I let that happen.”
“I mean, just put Aniki in the same room as him and he will forget everyone else in the room.”
“I’m not talking about Hashirama.”
Izuna blinked in confusion, but before he could ask him about it more they already arrived at the newly built hospital of their village. Tobirama went ahead to a room without registering him as a patient, confusing the Uchiha even more.
“Itama, can you look at him?”
That was when Izuna remembered about the youngest brother of Tobirama, Itama. They never interacted much after Konoha was established, given they were busy with their roles. Izuna was roughly placed on the examination bed which Tobirama earned a glare from him. But the latter just shrugged his shoulders and made some room as a man early younger than him stepped closer. His dual colored hair was immediately the first one Izuna noticed followed by that gentle smile unlike but still similar to Hashirama.
“Really now, Nii-san.” Itama sighed, smile still in place. “That’s no way to handle a patient.”
Tobirama just rolled his eyes and looked like he wanted to comment on that but refrained from it. Itama was quick to examine him, healing small scraps quite quickly.
“Hm, fortunately there is no hint of poison to find on your wound, but given we know of nothing of the enemies you encountered it’s best for you to stay overnight. That way your sprained ankle also can rest a bit more.” As Itama talked about his examinations he placed his hand over Izuna’s ankle which emitted green chakra from it.
But hearing that he had to stay here for a simple wound didn’t suit him at all.
“There is no need for that.” Izuna said as he shifted away from the medic-nin. “I’m grateful for your help. I will just take it easy tomorrow and then I’m good as new.” The Uchiha tried to get up from the bed, but was immediately stopped by the other who for some reason smiled weirdly at him. And why is Tobirama suddenly taking a few steps away?
Suddenly he felt a powerful impact against his nose causing Izuna to cry out in pain and fall backwards on the bed. Touching his nose he saw the blood on his hand looking shocked at Itama, the culprit who punched him.
“Oh dear.” Itama said still smiling, but Izuna just felt a shiver at that smile. “It seems you have a concussion as well. So unless you want to worsen your injury by breaking your leg you better stay the night.”
It made no sense for him to suddenly break his leg, but he could tell that the younger Senju would do anything to make him stay here. Even when it means that he would break it. So, the Uchiha just nodded his head and Itama’s smile shifted to a grin.
“Great!” The medic-nin grinned, immediately healing his nose as if the punch never happened. “I’m gonna talk to a nurse to prepare your room. I will be right back.” With that the younger left the room and Izuna couldn’t help but stare after him.
Izuna never met a medic like him and the shiver he felt wasn’t out of fear. More like he felt quite turned on. He definitely wants to see him more.
“I think I fell in love with your brother.”
Tobirama just looked at the ceiling refraining from sighing.
