An Nguyên has complicated feelings towards Medpoc ever since they first met.

while both arrived at st. pavlov at a young age, medpocs was by volition and an nguyên was forcefully taken away from her family due to the arrival of the storm. she was never a confident kid, though she hides this fact behind an outgoing facade, always smiling, always being overtly friendly with others. she was taught to be as polite as can be. despite the glaring social anxiety, she somehow managed to pull through the first few months being put into training.

her goal at st.pavlov was to be as AVERAGE as possible, he did not want to stand out at all. as long as she got through the day it was okay. she and Medpoc did not meet each other until she was near 18, bumping into them while delivering some documents to Laplace. Medpoc were scooting around the halls on one of them spinny chairs, and An Nguyên happened to be in his way. she was upset but didnt want to cause trouble, grumbling and picking up the fallen papers. Medpoc just laughed telling him to speak up or something. and noticing the newbie they started cracking jokes about how theyre really hiring more broken pieces into the roster. An Nguyên was absolutely annoyed, and hurt too. too many things had built up to that point but she still couldnt muster the courage to talk back to someone superior in her eyes. she just quickly shoved the documents in their hands and walked back, thinking that was the last time theyd ever meet.. only to be proven wrong the next week.
