my roommate sat me down to watch an anime with them and as we were watching I pointed at the two main characters and said they gave off strong aroace vibes. Their reply was just "yeah but it's obvious X is falling for Y" and I just... Idk it bugged me a lot and I feel like it shouldn't. Obviously they just have a different interpretation than me but...idk them saying that almost felt like it was invalidating my interpretation? Part of me wishes I had told them that it hurt but also should I even feel hurt?? Idk it's too late to do anything now ;;
