Christmas Cheer

It was almost Christmas Eve and the girls were getting ready for their last night out before they headed home for the holidays. Sun had been ready for over an hour but Minji was trying to get her two buns to look as good as possible, but it wasn't working. “Do you need help?” Asked Sun from her bed. She had already packed all her stuff ready to leave the following day and was bored out of her mind. “I can call Gin if you don't trust me” Minji growled in response because her frustration was getting out of hand. “Also, not to be disrespectful to your mighty PCY but I don't think that’s the most christmassy outfit ever” she said looking at her phone and suddenly she got hit by a hairbrush. “Ouch! Just sayin! It's fine though, jeez” “That's what I thought” she smiled proudly. “And yes, please. Help me out” she sat down on the floor, giving up. Sun jumped out of bed and she nearly fell because she lost balance. “Okay, but close your eyes! I want it to be a surprise” Hearing her little laugh made Minji roll her eyes. “You’re a scary creature, did you know that?” Sun smiled in response and told her again to close her eyes. Minji sighed but she did as she was told. “So you just want your buns right?” Asked Sun while brushing her roommate’s blue locks. Minji nodded. “Don’t do anything weird, Sun. Because I won't have time to fix it before we have to go.” “Yeah, don't you worry. I’ll be right back. I'm gonna get… uhm… hairpins!” She said and left in a rush. Minji was left there sat on the floor, feeling the winter wind knock on their windows. Sun came back with a bowl filled with tiny candy canes. “Okay i’m back! Get ready for Sun’s magic!” She managed to do the buns really quickly and when she was done, she started sticking the candy canes in. She looked at her creation and smiled. “Okay, I fixed the festive problem.” Sun smiled and ran back to her bed. “You can open your eyes now!” She shouted while grabbing her pillow to cover herself in case another hairbrush flew her way. Minji opened her eyes and her mouth dropped. “What did you just do?!?!?!” “They look cute!” Replied Sun with a smile. “Now you look festive and we are ready to go.” As soon as she said that, their door swung open and Gin was there. “Hey guys are you rea…” she started saying but someone caught her eye. “Why… are there candy canes on your hair..?” Minji sighed. “Sun did it” she crossed her arms while Sun laughed in the background. "The question here would be, why aren't you wearing the reindeer hairband I got you for our Secret Santa, Ginnie?" "Well, it just did not look good on me and the bells kept getting stuck in my hair" the girl shyly looked down. "Well, bring them and I will wear them instead!" Smiled Sun. "You can wear my Santa hat since you are not wearing any Christmas jumper either." "Sun, you are not wearing a Christmas jumper either, are you kidding me?" Complained Minji while trying to fix her hair. "What are you talking about? Isn't this the most Christmassy volleyball uniform you have ever seen?" Sun said pointing at her Red jacket that read "Merry Christmas" in the back on top of her number. Both girls rolled their eyes and laughed. "Okay, let's go." Said Minji grabbing her stuff. "I swear to god, if the candy melts in my hair I will kill you in your sleep." She said and they all headed out laughing.
