Two issues are important in Anna Barts current works: the painting and the private space. The painting as a two-dimensional medium and at the same time as a motif. On one hand, even if it is representational, it remains always an abstract representation of reality. And on the other hand it means the abstraction of everyday objects when the objects lose their context. In Tsukuru she painted her mothers private living room on classic Fusumas. These sliding elements created a room in the traditional Japanese house by bordering spaces in the house. If you slide aside these doors, the room dissolves. The painted room remains volatile. The painted objects are floating and baseless on the doors. One door has a painted handle – if you want to open it, you have to slide them. The room disappears, the painting as well as the real chamber.
Zwei Themen spielen in Anna Barts aktuellen Werken eine zentrale Rolle: die Malerei und der private Raum. Die Malerei ist ein Thema als ein zweidimensionales Medium und Motiv, welches selbst wenn es gegenständlich ist, doch immer ein abstraktes Abbild der Wirklichkeit bleibt und die Abstraktion der alltäglichen Gegenstände, wenn sie ihren Kontext verlieren. In Tsukuru malte sie das private Wohnzimmer ihrer Mutter auf klassischen Fusumas. Diese erschaffen im traditionellen japanischen Haus erst einen Raum, indem sie Flächen im Haus begrenzen. Schiebt man diese Türen beiseite, löst sich der Raum auf. Auch der gemalte Raum bleibt flüchtig. Die Gegenstände schweben haltlos auf den Türen. Eine Tür erhält einen gemalten Griff – öffnet man sie, muss man sie schieben. Der Raum verschwindet, der gemalte Raum ebenso wie der reale Raum.
アンナ バートの作品には現在テーマが２つあります。それは絵画とプライベートなスペースです。絵画は２次元の中の表現であり、モチーフは具象的に描いてあっても、決して現実の印象的なイメージに過ぎません。また、モチーフから背景を除けば、抽象にまで変化します。アンナ バートは「ONGAESHI#1」展のとき、日本の襖に自分の母の部屋を描いていました。襖は日本の家の中で空間を作るパーツで、スライドさせると、空間が開きます。この絵画の中の空間も同じように動かせるので、モチーフの家具などが浮かんでいるように見えるかもしれません。１つの襖に描いてあるドアはノブが付いているのに、このドアもスライドさせないと動かせません。動かすと、現実の空間も、絵画の中の空間も変わります。
