Looking back at some of my favorite performances of 2015 - I need to include NACH, a.k.a. Anna Chedid, and her performance “Ce qu’ils deviennent” (”That They Became”) in an accoustic session from April 2015.  It was a very full year for Anna: Not only did she tour with her dad Louis and her brothers Matthieu and Joseph on both sides of the Atlantic (the Chedid’s played a very successful show in Montreal in June), but she also played solo dates with two different sets of musicians - her newest line-up has become sort of a sisterhood of musicians. NACH is a break-out phenominon and one to watch in the future.

This is footage from a recent concert by la Famille Chedid in Vallet; Matthieu’s making his traditional lap through the crowd as his dad and siblings look on from the stage.  There are only a few more concerts left in the tour, including the symulcast in theaters across France and Belgum on September 6th.

Speaking of the Chedids, there’s been a small change of plans regarding the CD/DVD set: the projected release date is now Friday October 30th 2015.
