Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!!
What was originally a Halloween present for my big sister Mandy turned into a Christmas present, because of how busy my final semester of school got, and now has turned into a Valentine's Day present because of the exhaustion and relief of finally graduating! Better late than never though right? The inspiration was from a comic book cover of Laura and Gabby Kinney, big sister and baby sister, asleep with a bedtime story. Laura's hair reminded me so much of my big sister's when she was a teenager and being 10 years apart this seemed like something we would have done growing up, so I just had to make my own version. I also replaced Macbeth with Lord of the Rings since it's one of my sister's favorite book series and the teddy bear with my Stitch toy that I've had since I was 8! Traditionally, Valentine's Day is for celebrating couples but I celebrate family as my Valentines!!!
