At a crime scene in the zoo, detectives Tessa Ott and Isabelle Grandjean experience a surprise: the victim is a chimpanzee. Although the public prosecutor classifies the terrible act as damage to property, Tessa continues to investigate on her own.
Darkly comedic and absurd, the Coen brothers come to mind. Funnier than most German language films with a theatrical release.
I liked Sarah Viktoria Frick's portrayal of the twin sisters.
That Fischli/Weiss' legendary chain reaction short "The Way Things Go" is prominently featured in the opening scene is fitting and surely got my attention.
