I just needed to make a little life update post because I hate that I'm not as active and I hate that I had to pause my feveruary ficlets... but I was, finally, diagnosed with something that explains how I've been physically lately (the past few years). It's nothing serious or life threatening, I am fine!! It's just, unfortunately, a chronic condition that is treatable but incurable. So whelp that's all fun and games.
yk it's interesting that cas can hear angel radio without his grace in 9x01. and then this doesn't come up again after he mentions it once. i wonder if he turned it off because people were trying to track him down or if he could hear angels trying to locate him while trying to be human. must've been scary :(. i wonder if it made him feel guilty about anna having to hear angel radio threatening her during 4x10
I love this. It seems as if when angels are in heightened states of arousal, they tap into extra strength. As a human, Anna was able to KO a guy with 80 lbs on her with some apparent psychic movement of objects. But she had to be under extreme duress to do it.
I love the idea of Anna being able to hear threats against her, though. Cas, too. Just heartbreaking! Thanks for the pain.
Today on the twelve o'clock news: Started crushing on a fellow PhD student. Currently trying to work out if she's queer. More on this as it unfolds.
I've been with my boyfriend for three months now and I've only just realised that I might have a type... my boyfriend is 6ft2 (so tall), brunette, has blue eyes, got a bit of facial hair so has this cute lil tache going on right now, smoked cigarettes (he gave up a month into our relationship), is a recovering alcoholic (he went through some shit a few years ago :( ), has a very goofy side but can be serious and practical when needed, and is so dog-coded it's unreal... remind you of anyone?
Reading AUs is so educational like I'm out here reading the cowboy clegan au learning about cowboy-ing. It's edutainment.
I was formally diagnosed autistic today (yep, that's a thing now) and I'm obsessed with how friends CONGRATULATED me 😂
[Note: I cried for like two hours after finding out and then had to go to work. I still don't know how I feel about it. Diagnosis' are scary aren't they. Oh well, we move.]
