my mom used to add cut up hotdog slices instead of tuna. makes the whole thing taste like hotdog. not bad if you like hotdog.
if you’re up for a few extra steps, you can dump the whole mess of macncheesentunanpeas into a cast-iron pan, coat with breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese, and toast at 350 for 15-20 minutes. tadaa: it’s casserole now.
