Is Annahouse's 015-1356 an example of a lace monster?
It has a lot of lace but I personally wouldn’t call it a lace monster. The lace looks like it’s good quality and there isn’t an overwhelming amount of it.
Je profite de ma dernière semaine de congé pour découvrir le lac de Côme ... Nous avons réservé un appartement sur Airbnb à petit prix et franchement on ne regrette pas, la vue du balcon est juste 🤩 L’appartement est situé à Lezzeno, un petit village tranquille sur le bord du lac de Côme, mais à proximité de Bellagio, l’une des villes les plus réputées du lac. Après tout le monde que nous avons croisé dans notre jolie Provence, j’avoue que ça fait du bien d’être dans un endroit tranquille 😅. Lorsque nous nous promenons au bord du lac nous ne croisons que quelques pêcheurs et des cygnes et ça nous va très bien ! Hi! May I have your opinion on Anna House's 015-1167 dress in black? I was thinking of buying it, but I'm a little iffy about the bodice.
I think it’s very cute but at the same time I think it looks very much like a maid costume because of the apron and if you were to remove the apron I’m not sure how the bodice would look. I think it looks cute in blue without the apron (you can see it here) and I imagine it would look cute in pink as well, but I’m not sure about the black because of the color contrast.
I'm having a lot of trouble looking for a plus sized white or pink blouse for sweet lolita. All the ones I find are made of cheap fabric, drowning in lace, or aren't big enough.
I would suggest taking a look at Anna House. They have an XL size but they also offer custom sizing if you need it and they have some really cute blouses.
Time for a positive item review! I'm not going to review just bad and terrible items but I will throw in some decent, good or awesome items here and there, namely these are to be used in the panels as better example pieces. But I know we're all here to watch the train-wrecks, right? This is a very cute pink sweets-themed skirt from Anna House. It's still on the website on sale BTW. I bought this 2nd hand on one of my sales posts looking for bad items and general beginner items. This item is really great for the price. $34 on sale, and second hand it was $20 shipped. It's fully shirred and can stretch up to a 34" waist. The fabric is a decent cotton print covered with cakes and berries. The lace trim is pretty nice, mostly cotton eyelet. The only thing I'm not really fond of is the shiny satin ribbon which feels a little cheap, but it's sorta snugly laced through the beaded lace trim. The bows on the skirt are detachable so you can move them where ever you'd like. They're pretty nice and not droopy or sad looking, though they don't feel like they're interfaced, if they are it's probably very thin interfacing. Construction wise, it's pretty solid but standard. Everything is finished, neatly pressed, straight seams as far as I can tell. It's a sturdy item that isn't likely to fall apart on you.
I'll honestly probably use this skirt a few times in the panel and eventually donate it as a prize. I think it's a nice beginner item. If I were still a beginner, I'd probably wear it, but it's not quite my current style personally.
