random midsommar review under the cut lmAO 

okay you guys should all watch midsommar , it’s a horror-ish movie , i wouldn’t call it horror , since it’s more of just ... unnerving than scary , but it’s ,,,, it’s still scary in a way idk how to say it ?? 

but in any case , yeah , it’s literally like 2.5 hrs of content and i watched it with one of my best friends and we kinda laughed in the theater at some scenes but shit was still supER scary , but also really empowering i actually don’t know what to say now that i’m saying it lmao , but some people say it became really dragged out ?? or trather some scenes , but idk i like it !! i was having fun with each scene and the abnormality of it 

the acting was oh so phenomenal , too & it really drove in this kind of ,.,. flowery european scandinavian aesthetic whICH was really pretty but then got kind of unnerving with how peaceful all of this terror was 

i kinda wish there would’ve been more scenes with will poulter as mark , i think that was really good casting with how much of a bitch face he has for such an ass character , but he was really funny and all of his reactions were so funny and relatable 

speaking of good casting , florence pugh was AMAZING and her screaming and wailing i was goNE 

idk i just really liked the artistic tone of this movie and it’s so rare to see artistic horror movies with actual meanings , ari aster is literally a genius i can’t wait to rewatch midsommar just like i did with hereditary hrhhrhrhr

anyways , if you’d like an artistic kind of scary movie where a female lead gets unhinged by the end as well pls watch midsommar it was GENIUS
