We got your previous ask. We've both been very busy and didn't have a chance to respond.
However
I don't know if you realize how glaring of a red flag your asks are. These are generic, lack detail, and feel like a trap.
OpSec, folks.
If someone you do not know well, or at all, asks if you're joining a protest, mainly for in-person ones mind you, do not answer. Lie. Say no.
That is how the feds getcha. That's protest 101.
I presume you sent this in good faith, anon, but I am not one to answer things like this *because* governments do monitor online activity and do use it to find people for stuff they perceive as a security risk. That's not a joke. This is a known thing. I am saying this as somebody RAISED in a family where our internet was monitored by the goverment.
Also as a reminder; at protests, even if theyre peaceful...
Dress nondescript. Cover identifying marks like tattoos.
Do not bring your phone. If you must, FULLY turn it off and remove battery if you can. Write important contact info on your body with a sharpie.
Don't fucking post photos / videos of the protest, especially while there. But don't post any, ever.
Bring first aid stuff. Bring PPE. Bring water and snacks.
Have back up plans.
Do not fucking talk to cops. Learn to recognize undercover cops + agents.
Obvious there is more, so do more research on your own time. But ultimately? Be careful. Be safe. Stay alive.
And remember, there is always more of us than there is of them. The powers that be rely on in-fighting to keep us down. We need to organize together in grassroots methods, not go after one other online about if someone went to a protest or not.
