after reading your post on how not to forget your mandarin over summer, I just want to tell you about an amazing app my Chinese teacher introduced me to. it's call Du Chinese, and because it is not yet fully finished it is free. it contains levelled texts/articles in Chinese from levels newbie to advanced. these texts are on aspects of modern Chinese culture & are genuinely interesting. & each text has an audio recording. there are English & pinyin translations too. it's so useful!

oh wow sweet, it looks soooo good! check it out folks, available for iOS & Android. (they also have a blog that seems to have text + recordings too) [and it's in traditional and simplified!!!]
