"Another day, another dollar." Isn't that what they say? Lainey had spent most of her whole day off from classes doing what she always did, busking. It was a way to earn a little extra money and get some practice performing. Usually, no matter how good or bad day she had money wise, she was always happy and feeling at ease after having perform with her violin all day but that day, she was restless. She decided to pack up her black violin that was a surprise from her Dad and just call it a day. Something was different, she didn't know what. She ended up not heading home, as she had originally planned. She just started walking and wandering the city she called home. She usually enjoyed this but her mind was elsewhere. Thoughts buzzed in her mind, questions that may never be answered, Answers she'd never know the question they were for, people she'd probably lost forever. They were all there with her in that moment and yet gone. And yet, it felt like she was waiting for something, something she wasn't sure would ever come. She couldn't put her finger on it but it was a big something, that she knew.
