Hello lovelies!
Usually I don't really care what anybody says in fandom because of course there are going to be different opinions and interpretations of scenes and characters, but enough is enough.
Today I saw a post about how Sam as a kid should've reported John and Dean to CPS for being abusive, like they'd have abused him in canon.
I don't even know where to start with this one! Like DEAN was a child too! Do you know that?!? Because sometimes I feel like people (Samgirls mostly) like to conveniently forget about it!
Also how the everloving duck could Sam have been raised otherwise when he was THE literal target of the most powerful beings in the early seasons?
I'm not saying John wasn't a neglectful POSH but he didn't have many choices did he? I didn't think I'd ever be a John apologist because he was still a bad parent and neglected his kids, but it really was a bad situation to begin with.
I think the only way this idea could be used if Sam gets whammified into a poor little deer who couldn't do anything and basically all his characteristics like his rebellious streak, sharp wit and caring nature gets destroyed. And I'm NOT even a Samgirl! I don't even like him most of the time for being oblivious, but let's get back on topic.
Today I blocked 4 new(it was obvious they were new in the fandom) blogs for basically making Sam into a mafia romance book Y/N character! And nowadays I see it more, it's like 13 year old little girls decided Sam was perfect for their projections then just couldn't separate it from the character anymore!
What's going on in their airheads that can't even like a character without making them OOC??? What's wrong with fandom??? Where do these destructive newbies come from??? And why the duck do they need to ruin perfectly good-with-faults characters???
Rant over.
