This one was interesting... I have not yet tried the eye-cube or the samples but my experience with Anne Semonin was too good not to share...

Lastly, in my box was a £15 gift card for Anne Semonin, a french company that prides itself on using natural minerals and ingredients but not in the same fun style that LUSH does, its a bit more grown up. I browsed, looking for a product that my gift card would pay for only to find the cheapest product on the website was £21! A bit too high end for an average Joe like me… I dug deeper however and found Samples Requests. The premise is that you pay £5 for postage and packaging and then email them the list of samples you want. They have a clearly stated choice of products that you can order samples of and I was interested in trying them. You get 4 samples sent to you for your fiver or so I thought…

When I got to the checkout it was only to find that another £10.72 was being added to my order for yet more p&p! That took it to a total of £25.72 delivery and I haven't even ordered a full size product! It would only take an envelope to get them here! Naturally, looking for a bargain instead of a con, I emailed them and told them just how “crazy and incredibly deceiving” (I was tired and cranky don’t judge me) I found this. I threw my gift card across the room and snorted in disgust!

However I was promptly replied to, addressed by my full name and my complaint was resolved. If you are buying sample requests through Anne Semonin, that little button for free delivery was brought in to existence by yours truly…

(I intend to use the samples when I get the chance and review them as well! I included a pic of them all here just to show you what my free gift card got me for free)
