K.Lime opens a strange door, and noticed this mansion is bigger than she thought. All these halls are so long and twisty. Where to start?
She and Kalypso look around for the strange buckets. They were said to have treats, and she loves treats! She opens the blue door going into a room and..
“Aha!” She held up the bucket like it was her newest treasure hoard. “We got one, love!”
Kalypso readied to applaud her but there were a lot of noise in this mansion.. and a lot of strange activity. Multitasking, she shouted, “Good job, babe!”
Key smiled, and held the bucket. In her thoughts, she remembered seeing other members of the Kremling Crew. Or did she?
“..Just a thought? You know he doesn’t like when we’re distracted..”
Kalypso scoffed. “Please, this is a party. Besides, he wouldn’t scold us for attending. Isn’t the queen his niece?”
Key Lime gave a lopsided smile. “Yeah, I guess we’re fine. You know I’m nervous around him. Hence why I joined your branch..”
The kremlings smiled at each other, and K.Lime decided it’s best to see what sweet treats were in their bucket. Just as she was going to scout…
“Hey, w-what happened to our sweets?”
An echoed laugh can be heard. Kalypso looked up with a growl. “YOU.”
“Who?” K.Lime looked up, seeing no one. She only shrugged and took her girlfriend’s arm. “Come on, Kippy, let’s get more before the others!”
There was a slight shaking from the ceiling above before...
A wobbly queen boo appeared, hanging down with her lower half still phased through the ceiling. She put on a fake 'dead' face as something green dripped from her mouth and eyes.
Shortly after the small scare attempt, she blinked a few times and grinned at the pair of kremlings.
"Hiya~! Overheard your out-loud thoughts. Dont worry! Uncle Rool is in the dining room right about now having some nice swamp shell stew. It's my own recipe you know~"
She does a short stretch.
"Glad to see you're both having fun! Grab some more candy and watch out for my lovely husband... Hehehehehe...."
In a flash and a puff of smoke, she disappeared.
