I think I've said this before but my personal headcanon is that jaina and tenel ka had a codependent homoerotic friendship that jaina felt weird™ about but not necessarily in ways she could articulate to herself. but then when she joined rogue squadron and was wingmates & roommates with anni, this badass slightly older woman, she realized for the first time Oh I Am Gay. like her relationship with tk was so normal to her but anni was her first queer friendship/fwb situation and made her understand that she's been hella hella gay this entire time.

I think part of why I ship Jaina and Mirta as hardcore as I do, even though I still barely know Mirta, is because I'm a lesbian and it's probably the most convenient femslash option for Jaina after Tahiri and Tenel Ka, who I ruled out by deciding they're headcanonically Jaina's adopted sisters.

Of course, there's also Anni, but we barely saw anything with her, and I have been contemplating Jaina casually dating Alema in the YJK era, but that's based on stuff I've barely started writing.
