Clerk Carmine from the Covey was the fiddler at Annie and Finnick’s wedding. It’s confirmed too
Do you think Finnick knew Annie was pregnant? Like they trained for a couple months before being shipped out and he never seemed to anxious about needing to be back for his kid. Annie would have told him if she knew because keeping secrets doesn’t seem like a thing either of them would do. After all it even says in the books that ever since they were married they never let go of each others hands. Maybe her being pregnant is why but i highly doubt that because a.) we don’t know if she was pregnant at the time and b.) even if she wasn’t they still would (which as far as I can tell she wasn’t pregnant). To add on to the hand holding thing, if they were always together Finnick would have known. We know the books are written from whenever katniss is experiencing them so when his life flashes before his eyes she wouldn’t think about Annie telling Finnik she’s pregnant. Personally I don’t think Finnick knew because quite frankly if Katniss found out she would have sent him back home probably knowing what it’s like without a father. But can you imagine if Finnick knew. How happy he would be be when Annie told him. How he would keep training so he could fight for his unborn child. Making video recordings and maybe even tiny vlogs of him and Annie just in case his kid never gets to meet him. Like they say before he ships out making a hello and goodbye video and crying in the end because he doesn’t want his child growing up without him but knows that him going to war might be the difference between them living safely and them living in fear. He would have made knot tying videos and told stories about his life and gone on and on about Mags. And right before shutting off the camera he would say “in case I don’t make it know that I love you and always will” before Annie comes into the room giving him a kiss and hugging him telling him it’s almost time to go. He smiles at her then looks at the camera with a childish grin saying “oh and share the sugar cubes with the horses after all you both got plenty of time” right before the camera cuts off.
Okay so in the Hunger Games victors get houses and rewards when they win. Now obviously we only know what Katniss, Peeta, and Haymich’s look like and where they’re located in district 12. But what is it like in other districts? Are houses in district 11 equipped with a greenhouse because they’re the agricultural district. Are victor villages in the career districts expanded because there are more victors than houses? Once a victor from a district does what happens to their house, is it knocked down, vacated of all their personal belongings and given to the next victor? Does location change in each district, like does district 4 have beach houses for their victors? Also who chose where to put the houses the game makers or the people of the district and if the people choose did they put it in a reclusive place or somewhere where the victors might feel more calm because of their natural souroundings?
Do you think Annie had to be a mentor. I feel like if she was she would have been mentioned when Karina’s was thinking about Finnick and his lovers. I also doubt tre capitol would let people see the actual effect the games had in the victors.
Edit: Sincd the games made Annie go “mad” I think they wouldn’t want her in the capitol because she’s from the career district in which there’s academies and the kids are trained to kill and are taught it’s the best thing a person can do. To go along with that I don’t think Annie was a career either.
Looking back on the hunger games films the thing to me that wasnt included that I really wished he was would be the song that played at Finnick and Annie’s wedding that compared marriage to a long sea voyage because I know for a fact that the film makers could have shot that beautifully and the music would have been amazing. I like the vows exchanged in the movie and it was an amazing scene but I feel like the song (even if it was just playing in the background would be nice to hear). Granted I can’t quite remember if it’s just a song but even if it was just a song the movie could have put in a dance between Finnick and Annie (nothing to fancy just simple delicate movements) and it would have been stunning.
