New chapter!
Hello again, more questions. Aside from the fact the same lgbtq labels we use aren’t present in universe, do the members of seafoam know or have an inclination they are queer / where are they in processing their own queerness?
Hey hey!
Questions are always welcome!
I'll say though, for this one we have two answers. As this is something that will be touched upon a lot in the upcoming arcs and can be considered a spoiler!
So, short answer but without spoilers: currently Piper is kind of unaware of her queerness because she still doesn't know many things about herself. She does, however, clearly have feelings for Annie, but she thinks they're normal feelings to have for a friend so awesome. Annie hasn't necessarily given any signs of being aware of her own queerness to Piper. Finnick seems to know how his attraction to people is different to others.
Now, under the 'read more' I'll give you more in-depth analysis but beware cause they are spoilery, as this is something that will be a big part of some arcs!
Hi! Which characters got what card from Piper and why?
Hey! Oh my goodness, I love this question! It actually took me ages to decide who got which card. I researched a little on what each card from the classic poker deck means and ended up going down a huge rabbit hole.
I'm gonna divide this by suits, as that's how I have it in my list.
Clio and Cato - Two of hearts, representing a deep, mutually stable partnership. A wish for them to continue to stay strong despite hardships and a way to send them love.
Mako - Six of hearts, which symbolizes harmony and cooperation. To show that his friendship has always brought her peace and calm and as a way to hope for him to always find that exact feeling in the future even without her in his life.
Percy Seaver - Ten of hearts, which symbolizes lasting joy and happy gatherings. A way to thank him for the happiness she's always felt when going to his house and as a way to kind of manifest happines for him.
Mags - Queen of hearts, symbolizing compassion and a nurturing figure, usually maternal. In this case, Piper is telling Mags how her compassion is her strength and how much it means.
Finnick - King of hearts, meaning a kind, compassionate man as well as deep, and honest communication and bonds. This is Piper's quiet confession to Finnick as a way to let him know she knows him and he knows her beyond what others think, as well as a reminder of the kind of person she knows he is that he can forget.
Moving on to diamonds!
Nixie - Ace of diamonds, often meaning good news or financial success. Aware of how much her cousin struggles, she gifted her this as a way to manifest goodness and riches for her.
Neptune - Ten of diamonds, financial succes. Similarly to Nixie's card, this was a way to manifest for them.
Now onto the clubs.
Annie - Ace of clubs, which represents the ultimate, grand success of creativity and new beginnings. Piper telling Annie how much she means to her, how her artistic side is something Piper has always admired as well as the way she views the world. This is also Piper kind of hoping for Annie to break out of her situation and stop herself from going into the Games.
Orion - Three of clubs, meaning success despite pressure, especially in creative projects. A hope for Orion to manage to get his vision eventually be seen and heard and a way to tell him she sees how hard he's struggled to try to help her family through art.
Galley - Six of clubs, it signifies intuition and moving forward. When Piper gives it to him, it's as a reminder that he is the next generation of magicians in her eyes and more importantly that he needs to trust himself, because if he does, he'll get anywhere.
Percy as in her cousin - Nine of clubs, symbolizing persistence against difficulty. Again, kind of a manifestation.
Seren - Ten of clubs. This one is closely related to traveling, so, she found it fair to give it to her mum as a way to hope that every single trip she made ended with her coming home, as a way to give her good luck and also because it associates with freedom. She is trying to tell her mum that despite everything, she still was the living example of freedom.
Kaitlyn - Jack of clubs, which always represents loyal friends and success. Piper is telling Kaitlyn that she will always be her friend and that her friendship has been one of the most important things of her life. She's also hoping for her to have a good life. The jack of clubs can be associated with playful spirits and energy, so, it's also a tiny way to try and wish for some joy in her life.
Uncle Brine - King of clubs, often symbolizing a direct, wise protector and leader. In this case, the man who kept the lightouse standing and alive despite everything and one of the people who Piper owes so much of her identity to.
Finally, the spades!
Ray - Ace of spades. This one was one of the most important gifts for Piper. It references a huge change and new beginnings. In Ray's case, she knew losing her would be shattering and his life was going to feel so different and that grieving her would destroy him. So, she is silently telling him that this is his chance for a new life, as a navigator and as a boy.
Caspian - Four of spades. It represents stability coming back after hardship, the same way Caspian always has found it and fought for it. Again, a card to give a message, in this case to forgive him in a symbolic way as well and tell him that he will move on and he will be okay.
Cornelia - Six of spades, representing a huge shift and change towards peace. Piper does not know Cornelia much, but she knows that by giving her this idea, she is more comfortable with her new reality and hopes Cornelia is also able to find peace.
The rest of the cards Piper handed out in that final Lighthouse Hour before the Games! Hope this was kind of interesting to hear. I put so much thought and effort into this back in the day, imagining Piper sitting in front of one of the books her father got her from the Capitol and trying to make sure her final goodbyes were perfect even if it only made sense for her.
Thank you so much for the question! I had forgotten I had that list and was intending to make a post, so this is perfect!

"So that's who Finnick loves, I think. Not his string of fancy lovers in the capital. But a poor, mad girl back home."
I made an Odesta community if anyone's interested 🙃
