8. Forehead kiss

     “I had a nice time.” The awkward man mumbled the first date cliche, sucking in his bottom lip as he slipped his hands into his coat pockets. Plagued by mild social anxiety (and a soothing reaction to killing things), Panos found it difficult to date. Well, he found it difficult to do almost anything in the social world. He didn’t know what to do next, so he took a chance, cupping his date’s cheeks in his hands and bringing her close enough to kiss her forehead.

     Panos hummed before turning to match a face to the voice, the whiskey in his glass swirling as he turned. He wasn’t under-dressed neither was he over-dressed. He fit right in. Exactly how he wanted to be, so he was surprised to be approached at all. “Hello.” The smile that followed the response was mischievous and most definitely an attempt at being enigmatic, though he wasn’t one for mystery. “Enjoying your night?” He mumbled into the rim of his glass, throwing his head back and finishing his drink.
