He walked back into the living room and pulled her off the couch. Wrapping his arms around her neck. He was still shorter than her and it bugged him imensly. “Oh come on. Your gonna be fine” he sighed. Gently rocking back and forth for a moment before leading her to the back porch. Levi looked up at the dark sky. Smiling a little. He was excited. Happy even. He sat on the little rocking bench swing thing.(you know what I mean) and pulled Reiyn down into his lap. A hand slipping under her shirt and onto her belly. “We’re going to be okay, okay?”

    「✄┅」Reiyn let out a small laugh under her breath, catching the small scowl he subconsciously made when he had to look up at her before he led her out. At least she hadn’t grown any taller over the years, but that could be said for Levi as well with a more detrimental context. She sat comfortably in Levi’s lap, jolting slightly in surprise when his warm hand came in contact with her still flat stomach which was riddled with stretchmarks from her previous pregnancy with Raven. She leaned into him and nodded slightly while closing her eyes.

    “Okay…” She whispered in reply.

"We're going to be parents again." Levi said softly. (WELCOME TO HELL NERD)

    「✄┅」“A-ah… Yeah…” Reiyn smiled slightly with a sniff, looking down at the glossy surface of the ultrasound picture they had been sent by the doctor that had checked her out. She traced the outline of the jellybean shaped figure in the picture with a finger.

     「✄┅」Reiyn sat in a mountain cave frowned at the sight below. Though her vision was slightly obscured by the ongoing snowstorm she was currently taking shelter from, she could still see the event taking place below. Soldiers from the southern kingdom Arain were attempting to breach the border into the northern kingdom of Zephyr and failing miserably to say the least.That would explain why there weren’t any guards up on the northside, they were preoccupied dealing with an Arain army at their southern gates.

     Spears and arrows flew towards the watchtowers of the Zephyr checkpoint only to harmlessly bounce off a magic barrier set up by the guards. Not only that, the southern army was bogged down by snow and ill prepared for the harsh weather; they would die from the cold in an hour or two.

     “This war is pointless...” Reiyn sighed as she pulled a stone from the messenger bag at her side and let it sit in the palm of her hand. A sigil for warmth was neatly carved into its smooth surface. Closing her hand over it, warmth immediately rushed through her body to fight the cold.

     “I’ll get going tomorrow morning, there’s too much commotion down there...” She mumbled to herself while sitting against a cave wall. She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

"How much sleep did you get last night?" -Levi. (21st century maybe?)

Synonyms for “I love you”.

     「✄┅」“None at all...” Reiyn replied absentmindedly followed by a yawn that she covered with a hand. Nevertheless, she attempted to continue reading through the book that sat on the desk in front of her... although she was missing details here and there about it’s contents due to the fact her consciousness seemed to be blinking in and out as she attempted to keep reading. 

     Propping her head up using a hand, her visible eye scanned the page a few moments more before she noticeably started nodding off... her chin then slipped from her hand and into the page she was on with a loud bang. She was dead. Asleep that is.

Reiyn sat in the living room with various books and papers sprawled out as she sat in a criss-cross fashion on the couch. She took a deep breath trying to unscramble her stressed out mind while doing homework getting the whiff of pumpkin pie. The air was thick with the smell of just about pumpkin pie scented everything. Pumpkin candles, pumpkin air freshener, and of course, the limited edition scented cleaning supplies that Levi had bought.

Thinking back to what Levi said to her a year ago when they first met, he was right about the whole college getting tougher as you go up in the years. Reiyn was now a sophomore and didn't even think she could handle all of this. Luckily some of her financial burden was lifted when Levi offered to let her stay at his own apartment after he graduated and she started her second year. Marco still wasn't happy with the arrangement of course but he just had to accept that Levi was someone Reiyn ultimately trusted that way and a lot more since he was her boyfriend.

Reiyn leaned back onto the couch. She just wanted a break but with all these assignments due she couldn't afford to do that. She probably couldn't even celebrate Halloween which was quite literally around the corner. Reiyn let out another sigh before pressing the palms of her hands to her closed eyes.
