Well, after a few days of testing, we've found some sweets that could make a good rotation to have at the shop!

[An image is attached. There's an array of sweets, including chiffon cake, cheesecake, fruit tarts, and mousse. Anything that can reasonably have decoration (ie frosting, fruits, chocolate shavings, etc) is decorated with something that wouldn't clash with the flavor and texture.]

Here's today's batch! We asked the owner and she said we could fulfill orders over Pelipper Mail, too, although those will have to be made to order unless you want a surprise sweet.

Um, hi. Normally I wouldn't go and ask someone I don't really know for help like this, but I need to bake something soon, and I'm kind of stuck and not even sure how to start.

So yeah- Ann, you like baking, right? If you're not too busy preparing for your event, do you have any baking tips for beginners? Specifically for baking pokepuffs if you have experience with that, but general advice would be great too.

I've made pokepuffs a few times, yeah! Let me think...

When they're baking, you're going to want to be really careful not to open the oven early, or they deflate. If you really want to peek at them, just turn on the oven light and look in through the window. I know I overcompensated a bit when I was first starting out and they turned out a bit burnt, but I slowly let them bake for a little bit less time each time when I tried again.

You'll also want to be sure not to overmix or undermix the dough when you add the flour. You don't want it to be runny, but it should just barely form a ball.
