The Temple of the Jade Serpent, for Anoki! When he first visited there and admired the jade work of the Pandaren, their worship of Yu’lon, the beautiful gardens surrounding the grounds, as well as the teaching of various monk disciplines really inspired him. There he found that Pandaren have very interesting ways of coping with things (yoga, for one). He felt motivated to pick up and learn as much as he could from these awesome people, which is how he came to learn yoga as a coping mechanism, and is why he has such a deep love for Pandaren cuisine. The Pandaren there also take care of his animals while he’s away, so he’s in their debt.

9. What is their greatest physical weakness?

Answering for Anoki:

His knees. Holy shit, his knees. Or any joint, actually. Anoki is old. He’s not about to crawl under a rock to die, but he’s at the age where he’s declining in physical health. He’s had bad joints since being a POW – he was malnourished for a long, long time and it took a considerable toll on his body. He doesn’t consider his missing eye a weakness, because his other sense make up for it. But he sure as hell considers his bad knees and aching hips a weakness when he’s running from danger. This weakness is particularly accented when he is unable to do his yoga for a few days. He uses it to cope with the pain and exercise the joints to where it’s manageable. If he goes more than two days without doing a downward-facing-Tauren or Rising An’she Salutation, he’ll be relying on his yak or carry him around, or on the members of his tribe for physical support.

I’m answering these for Anoki!

01. Anoki trusts 3 people very strongly; Awenas, Karanga, and Kagtu in The Wolfmane Tribe. He values their friendship, advice, and guidance above anyone else’s. 

02. Goblins, in general. He’s learned to be very scrupulous when it comes to interacting with most of the lil’ greenies. 

03. Anoki is a pacifist, so he wouldn’t like to fight anyone. Though, if given the chance, he’d probably punch the big baddie behind all of the Black Dawn events in the Wolfmane. 

04. His friends. His family. His Tribe. He is willing to put his beliefs aside for the people he loves, and he has. When it means protecting the Tribe that has become his family, Anoki would put his own life on the line to give them another day on this planet.

💔 What was my muse’s first heartbreak?

I’mma answer for all of my characters! Or, all of them that have some sort of heartbreak.Anoki: When his mate left him after their infant son passed away from natural causes.Mourai: She has never had a significant other; she’s been to busy “finding herself.” However, it broke her heart when her parents wouldn’t allow her to practice shamanism. They wanted her to continue the family line of monks. Of course, she didn’t.Sechen: She also has never dated anyone! She dreamt of all the Yaungol bulls who would fight for her hand, but alas, it wasn’t meant to be. She was exiled from her tribe long before the suitors homed in. The exile was probably the most heartbreaking. Layde Lovebolt: Layde has had a history with male suitors, none that great. She had a boyfriend in her teen years. One that got her hooked on some not-so-great things. When she finally pulled herself out of that hellhole, it broke her heart to realize that someone who ‘loved’ her would do her so wrong. 

I have a few other characters, but none of them have had profound heartbreaks!

😮 ; What is your favourite thing about your muse?

The fact that I can do just about any kind of RP with Anoki. He’s just so versatile. I can do lighthearted RP where he plays the silly grandpa, doting on his adopted grandchildren, doing what funny old men do. I can do suspenseful or tragic RP, reflecting on Anoki’s past, how he’s still struggling with it, etc. etc. I can do adventure RP because Anoki LOVES adventure. There’s just so many opportunities for him, and he still has a lot of things to come to terms with, and adopted grand-calves to raise. Ahhhh I love him!!!

For Anoki: 01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded? 11. What is something that would make your character fly into a rage? 15. Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.

01. Anoki I actually got from a Native American name generator, I came up with Grovestep first. I have a Druid on my original server named Irontree, and I wanted a name that had the same vibe. The name proceeded the character’s intentions, but it turned out well and suits him. I named him Anoki when I fleshed out his RP profile. Now it just seems…perfect.

15. Oh gosh. Anoki hasn’t really made any enemies that would evoke such a reaction. Though, while Garrosh was war chief, that name could make him go into a fit. Ol’ Garry was the complete opposite of all of Anoki’s ideas and morals. It was around his reign that Anoki was really embracing Pandaren culture, and seeing them treated as lesser being was very upsetting to him.
