Hello Tacky I saw you finished A Little Courtesy (I say, as if I wasn't weeping because it ended)

I hope you are having a nice summer (and not boiling over like me, even if this week has been tame), make sure to drink a lot of water and avoid going out like,,, all day because I'm pretty sure you can fry an egg in the street

I don't even remember what I said about ALC, so I am beginning this again (ToT)/

I really liked the story, I was saddened at the end with all the talk about mortality, but I really enjoyed it, all the story and all the chapters. I do not think there is a better ending for the story, and in retrospective it was all really thought out. Fantastic writing, fantastic ending, like everything I read from you, even if you don't think so at times lol

I liked that I had said a few things that were correct!! (Even if it all came from the fact that another fandom overlapped and I was at the time already looking up japanese terminology about the underworld lmao) There were a few things like the literal tooth and the whole Izanami thing, I did not expect to happen like it did but it was so much better than what I thought would happen,, I will definitely read it again. A lot of times.

It did reaffirm my opinion about how men do not take accountability for their actions tho /hj (only half because it is true)

Not really related to this, but I have this sketch I did of Makoto I wanted to share with you after I finished it but got cold feet 💔 i was trying some brushes and liked it. Sending it to you in this ask so it stops haunting me (also yes i did forget how her uniform looked. It was so ugly tho)

Nooooo oh no worst feeling ever

I'm mostly keeping indoors with AC, but the last week has been a bit of a respite even when I'm outside (I get off work at 3 PM the sun is scorching and I sweat buckets...), so all's well! Try to keep in the shade! September's only a month away...!

Tbh I was feeling conflicted about the ending being kind of a downer, but I didn't think a straight up happy resolution would have felt true to the story. I'm happy with the reactions I've gotten so far and I feel like my choice has been validated.

Haha yes it sure was not me getting plot points and plotholes sorted out during the Izanami confrontation. On a more serious note though, I had thought a lot about the resolution, but I hadn't thought through how to explain everything, and I wrote the conversation with Izanami like... three times during the course of the fic. First because I wanted to nail down the correct vibe, and then at the end to make sure everything was properly explained and there weren't any important plot points I'd forgotten to resolve. After turning it over for so long in my mind and writing several versions of it, I couldn't keep straight what I had already explained and what I hadn't. (>ლ)

At some point it was very hard to reply to comments without giving away the mystery! It makes me happy to see that you guessed some things, I had a lot of fun planting clues and they bore fruit. Great job everyone! And thanks for not catching the tooth thing, that had me anxious from the very first chapter.

Can't say either Izanagi or Izanami were stellar parents here, but he sure took the deadbeat dad role seriously. It's always the kids that get the short end of the stick. 😔

And WHAT IS THIS! This is amazing! (●♡∀♡) Look at that beautiful surly face! You did a better job at dressing her than canon did anyway. I love how you drew the shape of her eyes, they're so fitting and expressive. Thank you so much, I'm going to cherish this forever and ever. 💕
