Hey Willow, how do you feel about the other survivors?
“How do I feel about the others?” Willow took a moment to think about this, currently holding a carrat in her hands, holding it firmly so it wouldn’t run away. It didn’t seem to trust being held by her, or like being held by her.
“Well, Wilson’s alright....he’s someone I can tolerate....sometimes. I don’t really like it when he tries to act way more mature than he really is, he can be a real downer sometimes too. I do like pulling pranks on him with Wortox, though! Speaking of Wortox, he’s pretty cool. I didn’t trust him at first, but then we started getting along.” Willow smiled, remembering all the pranks she pulled on the others with Wortox by her side. Little did she know, most of those times she was by his side. “It’s not hard for Wolfgang and I to get along, he’s just a big guy with a big heart! He’s a sweetheart, even knowing he’s scared of the dark! I can help with that, though... so we make a good team.”
Willow ponders for a moment, humming slightly. “As for the others? Wendy’s alright for a kid, but she creeps me out. A whole lot. I don’t like the robot, he’s a bit...well, rude. Miss Wickerbottom is alright, she’s fairly sweet!” Willow let out a hmpf noise, slouching a little to get her point across. “But she can be real bossy sometimes! Woodie’s okay, I don’t like how he yells at me when I’m burning the trees...but oh well. I try to replant them when I can.” Willow’s face tensed up and she stood up tall, grimacing a little bit. “Don’t even get me started talking about that old grouch, Maxwell.” She began to calm down a little, going back to a happy smile. “Wigfrid is nice, really nice! I like hunting with her, she has so much energy!”
Willow took a moment to laugh, feeling a little embarassed as she noticed something. “Awe jeez...I’m rambling, aren’t I? Sorry about that, I tend to ramble... For the others I think they’re all alright, the kiddos are fun to hang out with and that plant thing is... well let’s just say they haven’t caught me burning anything yet...”

Peter:
In general, this guy is sweet to everyone
And to top it, he has a really good grasp on what’s romantic
So, when he somehow ends up under love potion, things get crazy
Sighing forlornly, getting distracted in meetings, and let’s not even begin on the gorgeous poetry
The object of his affections had better be prepared for all the magnanimous stunts
He will literally fill her room with her favorite flowers
Even though he’s sneezing while trying to confess his love
He sends her love letters three times a day filled with beautiful prose praising her very existence
He even tried to get her name embroidered on tapestry in one of the parlors, but at that point his siblings intervened and cured him of the potion
He was so embarrassed when he snapped out of it, but even so he was more worried that the girl he had been “in love” with hadn’t been harmed or shamed in any way
What a sweet guy
Edmund:
Edmund was excellent at keeping his feelings to himself
He was so good that his siblings began to doubt he’d ever even had a crush before
So it came as a shock to everyone when one day he waltzed into a diplomatic meeting and placed a rose in front of a girl
This kid went from serious to absolutely lovestruck
He would make every single topic into some pick up line or flirtatious joke
He was actually impressively smooth, but some of his comments were worrying
He was constantly trying to talk to the girl or spend time with her, to the point where guards had to physically drag him away
At which point, his anguished cries echoed down the halls
He even wrote a song for her, which wasn’t half bad, and started singing it outside her window past midnight
When his siblings finally got him free, he was actually dazed and didn’t remember anything
He had turned several shades of dark red when they began to tell him the things he’d done
He’d also avoid the girl who endured it all for several days, although he’d write her a long, well-worded apology for the trouble he’d caused
Caspian:
Like Peter, he was sweet in nature but also a bit of a natural flirt
Under the effects of a love potion, he was worse
His flirting went from smooth to absolutely cringe worthy
He would literally compare everything he saw to the object of his affections
Bad poetry comparing and contrasting her eyes to his bronze helmet
He would kiss her hand every five seconds in a conversation, and if she pushed him away, he would clutch his heart dramatically and proclaim his heartbreak
It was getting to the point where meetings and diplomatic decisions were either pushed off or revolved around the “love of his life” as he insisted on calling her publicly
Also...Pet Names Galore
Finally, his friends and advisors figured out how to free him and bring him back to normal
He was slightly blushy for the next few days, but he tried his best to act like it never happened
He met the girl privately to apologize for his behavior and gifted her with whatever she wanted to make up for it

Ok according to Mike’s own site he’s senior performance engineer. What I am deluding myself hoping is happening is that Mike is somehow shadowing Bono/Riki as an understudy so that one day he can become George’s race engineer.

Edmund’s first suitor appeared when he was only twelve
He had a bit of a growth spurt, and puberty was starting to hit
And he caught the eye of this princess who was 11
There was only a year difference, but she had a hopeless crush on him
She would follow him around EVERYWHERE
During important meetings, she would attend despite not having the need to just to stare at Edmund
Edmund didn’t actually know what was up until he told Peter how this girl was creeping him out, and Peter just laughed
He told Edmund exactly what was happening, and Edmund had never turned so red from embarrassment
Thankfully, Peter was more in the spotlight and his next suitor didn’t appear until he was sixteen
She was a lady from another smaller province and she had a very...peculiar way of complimenting him
“Oh, Edmund...your brown eyes remind me of the twigs in my garden.”
“My lord, your skin is as white as paper...it makes you so beautiful and fragile.”
“King Edmund, your ears are quite outstanding aren’t they!”
He was never quite sure if she was insulting him or complimenting him
Edmund tried to squash her advances by pushing one of his knights onto her
Turns out his knight was far more interested and actually ended up courting the girl
His next notable suitor came when he was eighteen
He had just come of age in Narnia, and a ball was held in his honor
He got the usual attention from young ladies, but at that point he had learned how to politely decline
Or sick Lucy and Susan on them--both were effective
One widow in her forties seemed to wave them off and give him some peace at the ball
She was really sweet to him, and Edmund pitied her since she had just lost her husband and never had the chance to have children
She extended her visit at Cair, and she and Edmund actually got along well
He thought of her as a mother figure...but she--er--had some other intentions
It wasn’t until Susan gently broke the news to Edmund
He was sooo horrified, and slightly disgusted
After some help from Peter, the lady finally left Edmund alone
After the initial shock died down, his siblings had a good laugh about it...and he couldn’t help joining along
When he was in his early twenties, he had one suitor that nearly caused a fire
She was not very nice at all, but she appeared to be in front of Edmund
She flirted with him horribly...honestly, she was very bad
Edmund tried so many things...gently letting her down, bluntly letting her down
He tried to get Susan, Lucy, and even Peter to discourage her
He got so desperate, he asked one of his good lady friends to act as his suitor for a short while
Not even that pushed her off
In the end, he went to her father and told him what had happened
His suitor came storming in a horrifically ugly dress with so many feathers and claimed that she would start a war based on unrequited love
Of course, the others in the room chuckled at her expense
Her hand motions grew more animated, and she didn’t see the lit candle that caught fire on the feather from her sleeve
She started running around wildly, and would’ve caught the room on fire if Edmund didn’t throw a glass of water on her singed sleeve
She was SOOO angry, but everyone in the room started laughing at the ridiculous situation
Her father apologized to Edmund for her behavior, but she never visited Cair again
None of the Pevensies could say they minded

Can we have a long post with Edmund’s suitor stories? Cuz honestly they would be hilarious.
Um. I have a headcanon that out of all the Kings and Queens of Narnia Susan is the one that is always awake at odd hours.
Actually, I can totally see this. It’s my personal headcanon that Peter and Lucy were morning people, and Edmund and Susan were night owls. Think of this...
Susan always tried to go to bed early, since it seemed sensible
But for some reason, her body just didn’t shut down and neither did her brain
In England, she actually loved school, but not often did she learn the things she craved
So, she would often sneak into her father’s study and steal a few books which she hid in her room
When Lucy was asleep, she would take them out and read them with a flashlight, devouring each and every word
These weren’t fiction books either
They were nitty gritty philosophy books or rhetoric books
Fast forward to Narnia, and her body had not adjusted either
She had a schedule though
She would actually go to bed promptly between 11-12am, but she only managed to sleep an hour or so before she was up again
She would sometimes read, sometime write letters, and a few times she actually felt adventurous
She explored the castle alone, and no one but the guards knew about it
Because of her odd hours, she formed a good relation with Narnia’s night security, and they had a great respect for her
She also used this time to check on her siblings
More than once, she’d calm Peter or Edmund down from a nightmare
And more than once, she would close Lucy’s window when she found her sister shivering in the cold
Nobody knew about her odd hours until much later when Edmund had late work and had accidentally wandered into the wrong hall on his way to his chambers
He found Susan exchanging information with some of the guards about Narnia’s wellbeing and the conditions of the poorer villages at night
Susan never adjusted her sleeping schedule
Unfortunately, when she left Narnia behind and attended parties, these odd hours were filled up with parties
What do you think would have happened if Edmund had entered the wardrobe first, not Lucy?
So, then wouldn’t he have met Mr. Tumnus first?
Well, I’m guessing since he talked to the White Witch, he had no sense of stranger danger either
He’d probably end up going with Mr. Tumnus anyway for tea
The conversation would’ve been dull
Edmund would sulky, and Mr Tumnus would try to fill in the void
But after a little while…and some tea…Edmund starts relaxing a bit and asking Tumnus questions
He finds the stories of his father and of the war before the winter very fascinating
He could’ve probably related a bit more
Just as he’s getting acquainted and comfortable with this faun who actually seemed to listen to him, he let his guard down and cue Mr. Tumnus putting him to sleep
When he wakes up and finds Tumnus crying, he’d feel really out of place
Hearing that Tumnus planned to betray him, Edmund snaps
Suddenly grows very cold again and doesn’t want anything to do with Tumnus
He doesn’t even comfort the faun and just bolts
He can’t really find his way through the woods since his sense of direction is very poor and also there are no clean roads
I imagine Tumnus catches up to him eventually and helps him back, which Edmund is very reluctant to follow
When he returns home, he says nothing of the magical land
He knows Peter won’t believe him, Susan would call him stupid, and Lucy…well, he didn’t really want her to know his secret
So, all in all, he would never tell them
But then Aslan gets them back again with the whole Macready thing
Assuming Lucy hadn’t visited as well, they would be completely lost in the woods until some talking animal (probably Mr. Beaver) comes to their rescue
The idea seems insane–them kings and queens?
Edmund would’ve stuck with his siblings the entire time since he hadn’t met the Witch
They would’ve gone home, and if Edmund were to finally come clean about the whole Mr. Tumnus thing, Peter and Susan would’ve assumed the place was dangerous
They would’ve gone back…Narnia would continue being in a perpetual winter
All in all, it would’ve been very sad and hopeless in the end:( I think there’s a reason Lucy, with her kind and forgiving heart, was sent into the wardrobe first.
imagine how devastated peter must have been when he realized that his baby brother who used to worship him didn't want him anymore. and imagine how angry and confused edmund would have been to not only lose his dad, but also his brotherly relationship in such a short period of time. both of them just wanted the other but didn't know how to communicate it
Okay this is sad, cuz like….
•Imagine Edmund absolutely adoring Peter when they were little •But Peter didn’t share the same sentiment•He was always a little put off by Edmund following him around and playing with his things and copying him •But as they got older, Peter grew out of it and tried to be the best big brother •And for a short time before Edmund started school, things were chipper •But Edmund found new role models–not good ones •Peter tries to get him out, but Edmund pushes him away •Peter thinks it’s his fault cuz he ignored Edmund for a long time •But he keeps pushing because their father isn’t around and Edmund is affected by it more than he’s letting on •Meanwhile, all Edmund sees is Peter’s lectures and sees how wonderful and responsible Peter is •And he feels like total trash in comparison •But he can’t show that •So he puts up his defenses and fights Peter with all he has •His dad is the only one who can usually see past it and see the good in Edmund (so he thinks) so he feels out of place with their dad gone to war •After the whole coronation, Edmund is changed but more than ever he feels dirty next to Peter •He just has a different defense this time and secludes himself for awhile •Peter is terrified there’ll be a distance again, so he finds edmund and forces them to have a talk about everything •That ends up being one late night with lots of crying and hugging between the bros
