Hey Nadi!!

I just wanted to hop on a little about the conversation regarding H, his mom and her maybe having a hard time accepting him.

That is actually not the case at all. I was also curious about it when I joined the fandom, I also thought that maybe that was one of the reasons, therefore I did my own reading on the situation.

Hudson isn’t limited by other people as much as he is by himself. He creates standards and game plans about himself in his own head and then lives his life around them. The problem is that when he does create these limitations, he does them in order to either please others or make others have it easier. He’s often thinking on how his actions affect others rather than thinking if he’s happy with what he’s doing.

So when it comes to being in a stable relationship, dating a woman, etc, that’s just the first option that he made for himself. He knew that this way it’d be safe and he wouldn’t have to worry his mom about being a poc in this industry and then also not be straight. He really doesn’t want to worry his parents. Ofc this goes deeper emotionally, with him thinking that as long as everyone is happy with the role he’s had in his circle for years now, he should be happy too. And he was, until recently.

So now, as Nadi and many other readers have also said, he’s learning that making others comfortable, making others feel good and normal about this whole situation shouldn’t come at the cost of his own life, future, and most of all, happiness .

Genuinely crazy how the same themes for your Connor readings often align with mine! I did another weekly spread for this upcoming week, and honestly I still think H is going through a pretty rough cycle emotionally/mentally. Last week’s reading made me think he was reaching the end of it, and I do still think that’s true, but it feels more like “the storm is starting to pass” rather than everything suddenly being okay. Like the energy feels less catastrophic than before, but still really heavy and exhausting.

I also don’t like reading too deeply into certain things because at the end of the day these are real people and there’s only so much we actually know publicly. But based on the cards, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if H stays relatively lowkey or less publicly visible until later in the week.

I think c is going to have a busy week though! I his energy is a lot more fast paced, and I get the feeling we might be seeing him more publicly facing this week. Maybe a new project announced? Or he’s travelling a lot?

Either way this weekend I think we will see both H and C more. Possibly due to the award Canadian screen awards and the Peabody awards.

(Anon reader about the leaks back again), another thing I want to run by you that I read…

I think a lot of people are overestimating where the HC connection is right now. I see that it is a lot less progressed and is very much just above infancy stage. Acknowledged and there is affection and (a lot of second thoughts from both) but each is still very hyper focused on building a career, breaking into the industry and chasing their dreams so it’s on the back burner in thoughts. Even NYC and LA situations when they were together, it was a lot less personal and both were locked in mostly on work things and networking (execution of SNL and Oscars weekend and meetings with industry people etc)

Even a certain situation with a partner has a whole lot less to do with the connection than we think. There are other factors at play that causes strain and reassessment in relationships that don’t have to be with a third party.

There are literal YEARS to go with that connection. (But I’ll check again after season 2 filming wraps).

IT'S ALMOST UPDATE TIME!! 😃😃😃 And assassin's creed came out today, this is a good week. Ugh, cannot wait! (I mean, I can and will wait but still!!)

Well buddy, I know you are excited BUT my beta is going through a stressful time so I think we are going to enter a short hiatus cos I want her recovered and in optimal condition. I don’t wanna pressure her either and much less replace her cos this is her fic as much as mine, so yeah. Not sure if there will be an update soon.

However, I do have a short fic that I was supposed to release today for the Clexa Halloween week. This one will be released fast cos I am trying to have everything written and beta’d my awesome new backup beta Birdie.
