What is your opinion on the controversial ep. 5 of VE?

Controversial point 1: Violet’s age being roughly 14. Yeah when they said that I was like NO WAY! She is aT LEAST 16!! MINIMUMMM!! I always thought she was around 18. But y’know… it’s anime… where 35 year olds look like they’re 5 and 5 year olds look like they’re 25… so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Controversial point 2: I’m assuming this is the point you were talking about with the 10 year age gap between the Charlotte and Damian. I mean personally, if this happened in real life I would be against it cos SHE’S 14??? AND THEY MET WHEN SHE WAS 10???? but when put into the context of this show, it seems like child marriages are common? I mean Charlotte was receiving proposals at 10 so… Also, after doing a little bit of googling, it seems as though in the Victorian Era (which I assume the VE universe is loosely based off of) a male child could get married at the age of 14 without parental consent, and females could get married at 12, however the common ages of marriage were between 18 and 23. So I mean she’s still a little on the young side, but if we are working with the Victorian ages then it is still legal. And no one really seems like they’re against the marriage so I guess it’s okay??? In their world that is. In our world at this age and time that is definitely not okay. It’s sorta a weird grey area of conflicting feelings… I don’t really know what I’m feeling tbh… because if we were living in that universe then it would be okay, but we’re not living in that universe so it’s not?? @.@ What are your opinions anonie?

If you go with the urban dictionary definition of cream soda, creamy breath gives a more sexual vibe, which I guess fits these photos. But truthfully, I think the music video will have some NCT Dream Candy styling and look (which I didn't like at all), which makes these concept photos confusing. Innocent and clean music video but dirty lyrics?? I don't know, Korean standards seem to suggest showing sexuality is bad and dirty, so could they pull this dark concept off? This is my first EXO comeback, I don't know what to expect. Also, maybe they don't realize in translation and another culture how creamy breath/cream soda can be interpreted? Will this song be like SuperM's Drip? There's more days ahead for teasers, so what's next? Is it a dark, mysterious concept vs a light innocent concept? hi anonie 👋 thank you so much for this ask! i love talking about these things!! <3 yeah, i agree with you! this is a sexy comeback and the choice of words for the title and teasers isn't necessarily fully understood by the boys! heck, i still think they don't know kokobop is an american children folk song, so yeah xD i googled both cream soda and creamy breath cause for me they had no particular meaning (i am not a native english speaker xD). cream soda is either a caribbean alcoholic drink or a sexual thing xD and creamy breath is a strain of cannabis, so a plant name. wether the boys are aware of it or not, remains to be seen. i don't know about nct, so i really can't comment on your expectations of the song. i am leaning for a sexy caribbean sound, think kokobop meets love shot (which is fun cause cream soda is a drink too!). probably with a hushed chorus cause that seems to be the trend at sm these days? for tomorrow's teasers, maybe we will get a day version of the concept, or as you said innocent and sweet? this isn't my first comeback, but i think i am as confused as always and enjoying my ride through all the exo-l clownery ^^ whatever they make i know will be good and i will for sure lose my mind over it! 🫠
