Neither she nor Peter were originally intended to be bisexual; they were in fact originally constructed as the Token Straights of my blog alongside Jack Verdant, to reflect that the daily vloggers they’re based on are very very very very very very heteronormative. (Ollie is TWO, he does NOT have a girlfriend or any interest in girls! … ahem.) But Powers MMBC is the first vanilla one that cropped up where Sera would be best suited and, well. Beggars can’t be choosers.

Her name, as well as Peter’s, was suggested to me by Jaime, after I asked her for the most ‘ordinary’ names she knew.

She’s one eighth Berry Sim genetically, on her maternal grandfather’s side, hence why her ears are pointy.

As aforesaid, she does all of the video editing - in fact, one fear that Peter has is being able to edit them to an acceptable standard while she’s gone! Part of her wants to take in a laptop so that he can send footage to her and she can upload it from her end, but he’s insisted he can handle it. Poorly.

Her individual channel, TrySerasTops, focuses on clothing haul videos, reviews of children’s toys, and milestone-based updates on Heart’s progress. It’s ‘officially’ gone on hiatus for the ‘BC’, but she will try to surreptitiously capture videos with her phone for behind-the-scenes stuff.

Because of the ‘reviews of children’s toys’ factor, Sera is responsible for about 75% of Heart’s toy haul. It doesn’t help that she’s an impulse buyer. Peter tries to keep her in check, but sometimes that bargain or those puppy dog eyes are too much to resist.

Inbetween their appearance in the Halloween challenge and the BC notif, Peter who I seriously almost called Jared just now did in fact bring another two people into the relationship, fellow daily vloggers Belle and Bass. But that didn’t last; Sera found Belle’s interactions with Sinnamon too suspect to fully put trust in her, and trust in polyamory is key.

Though at least it put paid to a lot of the suggestions in comments that Sera only pretended she was bi to score subscribers and points in the LGBT crowd… Not all of them, though. There’s still jackasses out there.

‘Dadda’ was technically Heart’s first word, a fact that Peter lords over her to this day. But she got her first steps, so they’re even.

Sera was originally born in Oasis Springs.
