Considering Chris joined a protest. I expect his website to do what it was intended, I guess getting the discussions started and no topic off limits. I would be LIVID if they ignored everything currently going on. The site hasn’t launched yet, there was supposed to be a recent launch, but no word of anything. Looking forward to how this will “make a difference”, there is no perfect moment to launch but I want them to at least be able to explain what the site is for. I already voted so, meh. Lol
I mean I get chris evans wants a “thing” post-marvel, but A Starting Point just doesn’t seem like it’ll gain much traction. I suppose it could be used as a private space where opponents on an issue don’t need to grandstand for followers and so can be more intellectually honest w/ each other. But A) how many people would realistically sign up for that, B) can you think of a single topic that twitter considers ‘off limits’, and C) the big issues being discussed in public spaces right now do NOT have gray ares and CANNOT be compromised on.
