‘Like to make’ is a stretch, I’m not a big fan of cooking in and of itself, but yeah, actually.

Ma had a recipe for sweet cinnamon cornbread pudding bars, kind of a spin-off on bread pudding, that I like to break out for the new year.

What are you making for the birthday presents? If you can answer that without ruining the surprise for the birthday kid that is. - A

Candles! One’a the few crafts I’m solid in, scented candles, I got pretty molds and dyes and everything. It’s for one’a my Lady-friends, and she ain’t big on perfume, so I’m gonna make her something nice for the house. :)

But yeah, if I ain’t buying gifts, it’s either candles, perfume, or cologne.

Do you think you would get along with other versions of yourself if they were to exist? Or would it be a case of being too similar to get along? - A

Dunno. I think I get along with myself, all right. I don’t have any particular self-hating episodes, never been one for beating myself up too much. But that’s all internal, going through the day to day, taking care of this obligation that I call a body. I like me, I get me from place to place and I know how hard I worked to get where I am today.

But that becomes different when you disassociate from it. Would I like me, if I wasn’t looking at me through a mirror, but from the outside view of a man talking to a persistent houseguest?

Would I care for someone who claims all the same authority on the subjects I have worked my ass off to master?

How well do I respond to competition?

There’s a lot. I think, short-term, it’d be fine. But long term, there’s bound to be a bit of friction.

Pfff, I can’t tell ‘em apart, ‘cept one which is definitely a southern-ism.
