Out of thin air, her cyan-hued Alicorn Magic conjures up a weathered paperback from the shelves of her private library; her current read-in-progress. The novel was a ratty, beyond-ancient softcover with the title of ‘FU-MANE-CHU‘ barely legible, imposed against an artist’s unflattering depiction of the mustached title character.

“I am presently enjoying this popular series very much, at the moment!” Nightmare adds, in answer to the second question, with just an ounce more of enthusiasm; “I understand these books were quite the hit, at least… several years ago, I’m sure.” Her confidence subtly wavers with this assumption, but to no extent which seems to weigh upon her.

The inflections in her words seemed to indicate that she is leveling some scathing accusation against somepony in particular - but no one else is present but her.
