Some people know how to write as if everything is fact, and fiction is swept into the sewer opening right before the big storm. The body parts attach themselves to each word or is it the other way around? Are friendships measured in arms and love measured in heaves of the chest? that’s the way words flow and fact boils. It is just the way it is, the way they walked through the streets, the way she thought of her mother, the way the sunlight watered down the coffee before it even steamed the sides. This is what, is.
