he hasn’t seen much of laura. not since all those years ago, when he’d let her go from the hands of the authorities. from his authority. he’s glad to know it was the right call to make. because while he hasn’t seen much of her, he’s heard plenty. and looking at her now, steve doesn’t see the same young girl he’d been introduced to all those years ago.     ❛   i see you’ve been doing well for yourself.  ❜       he greets, and hopes that his assumptions are true. and while it’s a bit ODD to see her in the uniform his old friend once wore -- God rest his soul -- steve can’t help but admit that it’s a fitting tribute.
