    ❦ “Why did you join the Avengers, Laura?” The question was sudden and likely very personal, but Tiresa was genuinely curious. Everyone had their own reason for fighting the good fight. Be it their moral compass or their own personal experiences with evil people. Each story was unique and the woman wanted to know all of them. Besides, she preferred knowing it with their consent versus seeing it in a vision.

   ❦ Mind’s Eye was in the process of handcuffing a man to the fire escape when she heard someone approaching. The man was clearly unconscious, having been beaten and then subsequently knocked out. In addition to this approaching person, someone was already calling the cops. She had little time left before they would be upon her, so the woman had to act quickly. So she quickly closed the cuffs and jumped down from the fire escape. 

     The vigilante turned to look in the direction of the person for a brief moment. Her true identity was contained behind a black mask with teal, opaque eyepieces, which left just her mouth exposed. The rest of her body was surely tucked inside a black and teal form-fitting bodysuit; one that was both durable and movable, but also leaving a fair bit to be desired. Since she did not recognize the person drawing closer, the blind woman darted in the opposite direction.
