(Un)successful zoo date with Donghyuck

Donghyuck, your boyfriend, was pulling on your hand. He was shouting something about the monkeys, but you were laughing so much at his excitement that you weren’t fully paying attention. “Anoukie!!” Hyuck whined as he pouted at you, “you’re not listening.” You giggled as you pecked his cheek, “of course I was listening.”

He beamed at you as he pulled you over to the monkeys, he pointed at one of them. “Look! That one looks like Taeil hyung,” he was laughing at his own but you only shook your head with a chuckle.

“He won’t like that,” you said as you laughed at his panicked expression, “please don’t tell him I said that.”

Looking back at the monkeys you saw a sign with information about them, feeling curious you started reading it. You didn’t get to read much before Hyuck was yelling for your attention again.

“Anoukie look! I made a friend!” when you turned you saw Hyuck grinning at you as he stood beside a peacock. “I’ve named him Carl,” he kept gushing and swinging his hands around. “I’ve think he likes me you know, we have a bond,” Hyuck kept talking as the peacock looked more annoyed by the second.

“Hyuck he looks angry, you should probably leave him alone,” you warned him. Of course like usual he didn’t listen to you, “no look Carl is super happy!” Before you could stop him Hyuck was patting the peacocks head, in no time it was charging at him. “Carl! I thought we were friends!”

The sight before you developed in a second, Hyuck was running a full speed screaming like a little girl as his friend, Carl the peacock, was chasing after him. You couldn’t help but laugh seeing your boyfriend running from a peacock in the middle of a zoo. “Anoukie! Help me!” he whined after you as he ran in circles. You shook your head at him giggling, “that’s what you get for not letting Carl be.”
