"Your quick appearance here is appreciated. Um, I hope that your journey went well?" Indeed, when there was a message from Tri Commission sent over to the Qixing on talks of building communications between the two nations now that the Sakoku Decree had been fully repelled, there were some rumors of who might be sent over. Some had thought it natural for someone from the Kanjou Commission to be sent over - given that the division dealt with bureaucratic affairs and others thought the Tenryou Commission might send over a representative given the overwhelming presence of them. It had been a bit surprising when it was the Yashiro Commission who had instead sent someone instead, surprising more so given the other's diverse background. Perhaps she felt a bit of a kindred spirit in him for that reason, though it wasn't nearly of the same magnitude of her own division.
"Um, I'll be your point of contact here. My name is Ganyu and I'm a secretary for the Qixing. Lady Ningguang apologizes for her lack of presence, it has been rather busy here as of late."
There was a stalwart sensation in drawing himself in to the City of Contracts. While peace blankets itself upon the surface, it’s certain thanks to the many hands that balance the greater whole alongside of their personal ambitions, where amassing Mora and status could lead to many interesting states in the world. Surprisingly different from where in the realm of Inazuma, where one’s fighting skill and the approval of the Shogun’s eye could lead to the grandest strides imaginable. However, his eye enjoyed taking in the jovial atmosphere, which means the hustle of sales, the laughter of the people tied with other smaller elements had him relaxed.
After all, what good would heading towards a meeting with a sour face? Doubly so, especially considering the possibility of who he may be facing between tables of polished sandbearer wood.
Instead, the shining sight before him is reflected upon the glistening hair that tilts towards an icy cerulean, tied with those semi-exhausted eyes that tell of their own tales. Thoma didn’t even need to second guess as to who this person was. Renowned for her work effect in which in his personal opinion, tilted to that realm of dangerous superhuman, the sight of Ms.Ganyu before him being the one to welcome him causes those eyes to briefly perk wide in immediately realization. To think he’d be introduced with an apology after barely stepping into the front gates.
“Pleasant as can be.” Thoma admits while letting a smile adorn his face, appreciating the small ice breaker as he decides to melt as much of this as he can. “Naturally if there was any trouble, it remedied either by a few tactics or the Millelith quickly securing the parameters. Liyue is certainly living up to it’s reputation.” Not to mention having to spend a good night at Wangshu Inn with it’s impeccable meals certainly made him feel a little over 100%. However, there’s no need to continue adding fluff to the matter.
”Representative of the Tri-Commission communications, Thoma, present.” He greets in turn, offering a polite bow before raising himself back up. Now was a better time to get to business.
There’s no need to bring apologies. After all, an era made without one’s Archon present happens to be a rippling new age, one that no doubts require all hands on deck. So I understand if she’s not able to attend.”
“So, how may we begin if you don’t mind? Over lunch or shall your office be a more effective means to conduct our line? I have to admit it’s been genuine years since I got any peek of Liyue at large.”
