Uncharismatic Fact of the Day
Thirsty? Why not drink a nice, refreshing glass of saltwater- just like a brant goose! These geese spend almost their entire lives along the the coast or in marine estuaries, and have little access to fresh water. But thanks to a highly developed glands at the base of their bill, brant geese are able to filter excess salt from their bloodstream, so they're able to safely drink as much saltwater as they want!
