Fire and Water
“Should we really be sitting back and letting them do all the work?” exclaimed Zen in a panic.
Soldiers were coming from all over the place but his Water and Fire masters seemed to be taking care of the lot of them.
Mitsuhide watched on with intrigue and Kiki had a satisfied smile upon her lips. The three of them stood side by side, leaning against the stone wall at the entrance to the Earth nation.
“We shouldn’t interrupt, Zen. This is one of the rare times when they’re not disagreeing on something,” said Kiki’s stern voice.
He looked over to her, standing with her feet a shoulder width apart, her back as straight as a board with her arms folded over her chest.
Zen was shocked to find that her lips were curled up into a ghost of a smile.
Over in the battlefield, they could all hear and see water and fire zipping around the city.
“Ow!” snapped Obi, his back against Shirayuki’s and she glanced up at him.
“Sorry, I miss-judged one of my ice blades,” she said with a smirk on her face.
He turned his head to glare down at her. “Really, I find that hard to believe, Miss. Is that payback for my prank this morning?”
Obi heard her growl and it made him smirk too.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about-” she began when Obi suddenly grasped her shoulders and they fell to the ground. He pressed her flat to the ground with his larger body as a long spear was hurled in their direction, flying over the top of them.
She could feel every inch of him against her from his well built torso to his toned legs and even what she assumed was his...
“Stay focused, will you?” he whispered in her ear, getting off of her quickly, pulling her to her feet with him. He ignored her scowl as both Masters went back to doing what they did best.
