this sounds so familiar. I went on an unfollowing spree today. Only about 5 fandom blogs survived. If you dedicate so much time to hate, stop watching or try to focus on something else. Seriously. So many good points.

there's a post going around, that I do agree with to an extent tbh. Like yeah, Teen Wolf is pretty good on representation and a lot of the fandom just disregards it (and by the fandom i mean mostly the sterek fandom and the good sized portion of problematic stydia shippers). Like the fandom shits on Braeden, doesn't care about Danny or Kira, and then will whine about wanting representation. Like a lot of sterek shippers want gay representation, but only if its stiles/derek. They never cared about Danny at all nor did they advocate for Danny to be a main character like most of the fandom did.
But like I don't agree that Jeff Davis is good with representation just because there are women/POC in the show. He doesn't care about them. He doesn't develop them enough. He literally used Danny to draw in viewers and so he could say "look at my tv show its so progressive because it has a gay character" in interviews but then in the show he never gave a fuck about Danny. And he certainly doesn't care about the women, which is obvious by the way he treats Lydia and considers Jackson/Lydia to have been true love. And by the way the male villains always live/get redemption and the women always get killed.
Idk sorry this got long, I just don't think Jeff Davis deserves credit for representation because he clearly only uses it so when he's asked about representation he can pretend the show is progressive when really he only cares about Stiles and all the other white dudes lmao
