A wall arrangement typifies stylist Megan Morton's gift for creating harmony among a diverse selection that includes porcelain plates from Hermès Bleus D'Ailleurs collection, an ombré dipped hand by stylist-turned-trader Brydie Brown, a planter stand from Ikea and a bronze mouse from a St Vincent de Paul op shop.

Deidre Broughton's Sydney home was built and initially decorated 40 years ago but manages to manifest eternal style. In the foyer are a 19th-century Venetian gilt mirror and 18th-century English card table and chair, given a lift with an orange Jim Thompson silk cushion. The glazed ceramic deerhead candelabra, 1960 is a major avant-garde piece by French ceramicist Georges Jouvé.
