Not what I should be doing and also not even what I planned to draw next but, drawing long haired Spock is therapeutic for me and I love more aggressive/ instinct driven Spock representations (bits that also showed in the first reboot - I like them in the first reboot) so, these AUs are usually very attractive to me. Sorry. (ಥ﹏ಥ)
While I was drawing these an actual plot started to appear and I just had to write down this snippet (even though I never wrote anything before and it’s scary) But, here. I’m adding it for depth to these images and also, in hopes that it might inspire an actual writer, perhaps? *lol* Please be gentle... It’s the trope where, being t'hy'la there is always a sort of bond between them which springs to life when they meet. Needless to say, Spock is frustrated. Part 2 (not really)

Everything about Planet Vulcan felt oppressive.
Orange sky, red sand and suffocating heat. An all-encompassing orange haze permeated the air, and Jim felt his outfit stick to his sweaty body within seconds. He was determined not to let any of his discomfort show, to remain professional. A model Captain. This treaty with Vulcan will be a big step for both planets, even if some of the Admirals did not share Jim’s own enthusiasm at the prospect.
The Federation had its doubts about Vulcan. Her people were strong and capable, but also proud and wilful, with much of their lives shrouded in mystery. Despite being less animated than a human, with dark and hard eyes, their emotions ran strong and sharp, and when angered, they were prone to extreme violence. Possessing three times the strength of a grown human and far superior reflexes, Vulcans were classed as unpredictable and therefore, dangerous. No one knew exactly how much or what they were capable of and what abilities they truly possessed.
In the past Vulcans preferred to be left alone, unwilling to enter into an alliance with the Federation and yet it was their current leader, a Vulcan named Sarek who reached out, seeking to discuss, to talk terms of a treaty.
Sarek was stilted, calmer and far more reasonable than former public opinion believed Vulcans to be.
The Vulcan walked up to them with his delegation and they exchanged greetings. He was intimidating, his face hard and eyes calculating, but Jim was relieved to find true welcome and interest reflected in them. Jim smiled pleasantly and extended his hand in the Ta’al, which Sarek returned with a raised eyebrow. Clearly, he did not expect humans to use the gesture.
‘We are honored to be here. I am Captain James T. Kirk of the USS Enterprise. Please, call me James.’ Sarek inclined his head. ‘I am S'chn t'gai Sarek, son of Skon. You may call me Sarek.’ ‘Sarek’ Jim nodded. Sarek extended a hand to his right. This is my son, S’chn t’gai Spock and his betrothed T’Pring, daughter of Solen. Jim smiled politely and turned towards the approaching couple. T’Pring was a beautiful Vulcan female with regal posture and sharp eyes, glinting with intellect. Jim’s gaze moved onto Spock, Sarek’s son and… he had to blink to hide the twitch of his face, viciously clamping down on a gape as their eyes met and a startling frisson ran through him. He blinked again and regained his composure, trying not to show anything but relaxed friendliness on his face. Probably the heat, finally getting to him.
The corresponding twitch on Spock’s face, the slight widening of the Vulcan’s eyes and nostrils, he must have imagined. There was nothing for Spock to be surprised about. He’d seen humans before.
Spock seemed less formal than the other Vulcans around them, his garments and hair less elaborately arranged and his face even less expressive. And yet, he radiated a tightly strung intensity, his gaze entirely too intent and alive compared to the cold glinting stares of other Vulcans, and those intense eyes were… still trained on Jim, he realized unceremoniously. With a sinking feeling in his stomach and a stirring in his blood, even more sweat breaking out on his forehead, Jim was suddenly, horribly aware of the fact that Spock was incredibly attractive.
Shit.
