Which time is this-
i'm pretty sure i have did, but i've been too scared to talk about it openly (internalized ableism and all that). but i sing your did love song a lot to myself when i'm alone, and it's been really helpful in coming to terms with my identity/ies! thank you so much, it means a lot!!
god i missed this ask and i’m so sorry for the lateness of this response? i’m really glad and i hope your exploration and realization of self goes smooth and healthy and that you’re able to feel safe and happy! i love you!
Do you prefer Greek or Egyptian Gods
AAAH! i don’t know! i think mythology and religions are super fascinating and i really like both for different reasons! both. both are good. maybe egyptian cause every time i hear about set i’m like you go you funky wild god.
have you ever considered licking a frog?
you know i have not. is it supposed to make you high? is it a high thing? i don’t remember. i use to catch frogs when i lived in illinois, i missed my chance.
i feel like there's stereotypes about owning ferrets that deter people from getting them as pets (any pet should be a well thought out choice but). did you have any expectations before you got ferrets for the first time and did anything about coming to own ferrets surprise you? what are challenges to owning ferrets? (are they truly stinkers?)
i didn’t have many expectations because they were, um, kind of a surprise pet! my cousin had them but just wasn’t able to give them the space and care they needed and we took them in. there were two days where at the beginning i never really imagined having ferrets and after the two days we suddenly had ferrets.
-they Do in fact steal things. mostly this is cute but it can be frustrating to have to lock up mundane things that you need fairly frequently.-sometimes they accidentally tear up things! both from frequent stealing (we have a kitchen rug that’s pretty frayed because the Naughty Boy loves dragging it under beds) and from trying to get under things/burrow (tear up carpet if you’re not careful). -mine aren’t nippers, but i hear some folk have a lot of problems with ankle/finger/toe nipping.-they don’t stink too much with proper care? i think the “smell” comes a lot from improper cage/litter cleaning and buying cheap shampoos. we got a little more expensive cream (and not even the most expensive) and they don’t smell too bad--as well as cleaning their cage regularly and letting them have a wide range of our house with a lot of litters throughout. i think that with their natural musk, if you don’t watch those things then it just like Attracts Bad Smells. but otherwise they’re fine. -i am Constantly surprised by how smart they are. honestly they remind me of human toddlers. Sú Talún and Rom understand object permanence, know that chests unlatch (even if they struggle to do it without possible thumbs), and know how to open cabinets! we had to get baby locks for our cabinets and drawers in the kitchen! fucking wild! idk there’s just a lot of times during the day with them like i’m like... oh, holy shit. i don’t know how but you understand how that Works. Sú Talún also understands things like he’s not supposed to go downstairs but if we’re out of the house then nobody can catch him. it’s wild!-they sleep a lot-Very Curious. if you are working on anything they will make sure to “help” you.-they’re cute and wonderful and have so much personality and literally brighten my life in so many ways
Oh I'll tell you three things I think know about you if that's your poison. 1) There's like this... old film you like. I can't remember the name of it. But you posted a clip once. A guy in a tux? was on a bed and he said something super quotable. 2) I think you have freckles? 3) You were also raised lds, in the heartland of the church, which if I'm right about and you're old-blood mormon then it also means 4) there's a significant chance you and I, strangers on the internet, might be cousins
sorry for answering ask 10000 years late!
1) it’s called the Shadow and it’s based off of old comics which are based off of an old radio show that was one of the inspirations for Batman and it’s cheesy as hell but i do love it!
2) yes! i do not tan, i burn and if i’m lucky i freckle. most of my freckles are on my arms but when i was working in outdoorsy settings i got pretty freckled everywhere.
3) i was raised LDS by veeery orthodox mormon parents (who would be considered old-blood mormons too), but i was actually raised mainly in illinois! (with other childhood places mainly in texas and ohio) i live in heartland, i was the only mormon in my highschool and did homeschool LDS seminary cause the only other LDS kid was like an hour away. however i now live in the LDS heartland of utah, mainly because it was the furthest away my parents would let me move away with them still being okay with it and, well, i really needed to get away from them.
4) i believe it and if i talked to my father to get access to his extensive genealogy work we could probably prove it. but hell yeah cuz.
I'm gonna assume that you have either a dog or a hermit crab as a pet. Not both, tho
no, but i’m gonna GET a dog (hopefully a rescue dog!) as soon as i have a house/space/money for one!!!! also i had some hermit crabs as a kid and definitely not a hermit crab but i have two ferrets that i love very much who kind of count as exotic as a crab. and two cats who are wonderful.
