It is not often considered safe to share a bed with an orca of all things, but such a sentiment seemed lost on Tatsumiya. She is snuggled into his chest now, after all, illuminated only by the light that filters through her window. A quiet sea night, only recently interrupted by the pair themselves. Maybe that's why she finds herself both vulnerable and bold enough to say, "I love you, Idate. I love you." || @heavenscales || He does Not deserve this.
It was rather strange, for the Orca to be so still, so quiet and so passive, for he was known to create chaos, cause tragedy and seek violence, yet it was still strangely possible for him to have a silent, perhaps soft side.
As she snuggled into his chest, he brought a hand to her head, fingers carefully toying with her short, white locks, always tidy, always soft, they always felt so nice, the care she put on herself made him wonder just how much she neglected such thing to be with him.
Her words came off as a surprise, words he’d only heard from sources he preferred to not associate with, a side of his family he did not want to mess with. Her words filled his heart in a way he could barely comprehend, and unlike many times, that he’d speak up, respond, he could not find the words to return, it was so difficult to express such things.
Idate’s hand reached down to hug her, a firm embrace accompanied by a kiss to the top of her head, the only way he could say ‘’I love you’’ in return.
