JULIET AND APRIL RAAAAHHH💕💕💕💕💕
Hehe, sorry sorry, got a lil excited <D✨
Are they like together or Juliet just admires her? You said she didn't want to be with April at first, so I want to clarify and sorry that I didn't search abt it before and asking you now<:³
I just know the diff between love and admiring the way it looks like you love them, but you don't, you just can't stop admiring X3
HEHEHEH THANKS FOR ASKING THAT
Juliet and April started out as friends, and that's a beautiful thing. There's a difference between admiring someone and truly loving them. Juliet admires April, and that's a special bond. That's right. Ever since they met, April's unique style and personality, which she sometimes called "weird," had intrigued Juliet. She was a special girl, even if she was a bit annoying (Juliet's very patient!). April and Juliet shared a special bond, especially because they both had their own unique experiences with Max Winters and the Yoatl legend dilemma AND the Krang Dilemma. April didn't really have a crush on Juliet, but she really wanted to be accepted by her. Juliet was pretty popular with some people because of her dad and her own fashion blog. Over time, Juliet started to develop a crush on April. But she never let on. She was always the same, even with the crush. She just became really supportive and wanted to be more around April (of course, with limitations, since her family was busy half of the time April was at the lair).
Juliet is a very affectionate person, and April had a hard time understanding that. What really made Juliet fall for April was that she was always with her. She made her feel things in a way she never experienced before, even though she was loving with everybody. Juliet and April have a really special relationship. They're both fascinated by each other's unique qualities. Juliet admires April's “adventurous” spirit and alien powers, and April really respects Juliet's deep connection to her Yoatl heritage. They both feel a special connection because they share some same background qualities like the weight of a mixed legacy. But what really brings them closer is the support they give each other through the challenges of being different.
Juliet does not fight, even if she is a Yoatl. She is a very caring person, unlike her family. The winters are pretty much warriors. With Max and his si kings being full warriors, and João being… pretty much an aggressive kid who loves bosing people around, Juliet is that cliche of a tender princess, even if she can actually fight. She simply doesn’t want to anymore. She fears she was just born to kill and take stuff away from people, like her family. April had the same with the Krang, them being really evil and her worrying about being a mutant.
Think of Lumity, yes, TOH reference.
The winters are not really that close, they have their own fights and their status. Juliet has a more human sense than her family, that’s why Max pushes her to embrace her legacy more, to be proud of it. But Juliet does, in an artistic way, but she doesn’t want to be so intense about it.
April pushed Juliet, gave her courage to talk with her dad. Also stand up for herself to Selene, Serpiente, her auntie. (she doesn’t have such a good relationship with Selene.)
Juliet gets more independent and more open in character after April. Ironic, huh?
After season five, Juliet actually confessed to April she had a crush on her. And they became a couple. 💗
A fun fact, is that Juliet feels so intimate with April she confesses her the true name given to her, Xochitl. she lets April say Julieta or Juliet because like Raph with Y’gythba’s, she struggled with her name. But she tried to understand it, and use it. So she did not felt offended, she actually thought it was cute😭
