This is more on the silly side for a question about Samantha

Has she ever been schlooped into Ninjanomicon? (Whether by accident or purpose. Idk how it would be an accident, but Randy would probably find a way tho)

oh she would definitely be shloomped, the first time being an "accident" (like how it was kinda an accident in debbie mendle ep)

afterwards though i think it would be cool if randy and samantha used the nomicon as a safer training ground - they can test out spells and the like without the fear of property damage!

is samantha friends/friendly with any of the other nhs students?

unfortunately no, or at the very least i wouldn't want her to be friends with the others students at the beginning. samantha is not a very sociable person - she is a shut-in, a hermit, and she believes she is just fine cutting herself off from most of social life. she didn't have friends in her old school and she came to NHS telling herself she would spend its entirety in the back, quiet, and not forming a relationship with any of the students

(also samantha's mom debut!!)

of course just because she tries her best to avoid social interactions doesnt mean she is succesful 100% of the time, sometimes due to certain class activities and the like she is kinda forced into talking to other students. that and of course the shinobi duty also pushes her out of her comfort zone, and usually it goes like pictured below-

how did samantha meet randy and howard and how did she find out randy was the ninja? did she know from the start because they’re supposed to act as each others counterparts, or was it something that she had to discover herself? does randy know her identity?

but to start off with the identity questions - at the beginning samantha wouldn't have known randy's identity at all. she would only know ninja exists and thats about it. RANDY however would know samatha's identity from the start only because samantha herself would search the ninja out to, well, ask him to find someone else to be the shinobi (she REALLY didn't want to do all that)

decided to make a somewhat messy comic specifically about that LOL

of course nothing goes according to samantha's plan and she is still forced to take on the role of the shinobi, and because the two of them would be stuck in this for the rest of high school, randy would end up telling samantha his identity anyway. not like she would have a reason to reveal it to anyone, plus if they both knew who the other is it'd be easier to help each other keep their identities secret, no? they could make excuses for each other, be each others alibi etc etc

with randy its really forced proximity LMAO

howard isn't really any different. since he helps randy with ninja stuff anyway, he would be probably told the same day that hey! there's a new warrior in nhs and she knows about the ninja and all that. samantha knows him through association with randy

BOY OH BOY AM I HAPPY TO ANSWER YOU ANON

To start off with the girl, her name is Samantha and she is essentially an equivalent to a Ninja. She is current (as of the show's timeline) holder of what I like to call "Shinobi mask". It gives its user somewhat similar abilities as the Ninja mask - super agility, enhanced strength and durability - but at its core the role of Shinobi is mostly taking care of rogue Yokai and Yurei from the shadows, falling less into a superhero archetype like the Ninja does and more into a supernatural shrine maiden, that also kicks ass if its required to do so.

Another thing differing the Shinobi is the fact they don't really work for the sake of Norrisville's wellbeing as much as they fulfill tasks given to them by the white haired woman. Her name is Kurumi and she is a 900+ y.o. Kitsune who's been continuing the Shinobi cycle all on her own, as it was the dying wish of the First Shinobi with whom she was very close (historians would call them really, REALLY good friends). She made the mask after learning how it was made from Ninja Prime - it was his payment for asking her to help him, and Kurumi is a firm believer of "favor for a favor, eye for an eye" mentality.

She lives amongst mortals disguised as a human and changes her identity every few decades or so. As for currently she pretends to be NHS's School Counselor, which means she gets to keep a close eye on any supernatural anomalies happening in the school and can point them out before they're noticable by mortals so she can send the Shinobi to deal with it.

As for WHY she picked Samantha at all, she basically performed a fortune telling ritual on the mask itself to see who the best next wearer will be. And lo and behold, the one who showed up was Samantha.
