Today is Mother's Day. So, I want everyone across the three colonies of WeavenSong, Ant Mountain, and Spartant to give their mother three very important things.
1. Their favorite crumb. Mothers love it when you make them their favorite meal.
2. A beautiful flower. Mothers love beautiful flowers to liven up their home.
3. Spend some time with her. Mothers also love it when their children take time out of their hectic lives to spend time with her.

An execution is being prepared for a supporter of the Crystal Wizard, who was mentioned in yesterday's edition. She will be left anonymous, but Supreme Leader Lepido of the Butterfly Kingdom swears to hunt down this Crystal Wizard and bring about peace. May we support him on his mission
The scientist ants continue to ask for donations or volunteers for their experiments. We are sure that their experimentation will bring about grand technological advancement for WeavenSong and it's neighbors.
Ant Mountain:
Tunnels have been reported to be turning to ice in the flash of a second, right under some ants' feet! This has been linked to the Crystal Wizard and is surely a sign of him spreading his influence.
Spartant:
Reports continue of a fungal infection spreading. Moves are being made to hinder its spread, so there is no cause for major panic. However, one of the Queen's guard, @ant9624, has tried to shield the people of this great colony from that news. He has tried to stop this news from getting out by threatening me and my livelihood! Hopefully, the Queen herself does not condone these actions and this ant is taken care of.
A society of witch ants has been formed on the outskirts of Spartant. Their involvement with the Crystal Wizard is unknown as of yet.
Reports confirm that the Crystal Wizard is trying to spread his influence into Spartant. Look at this first hand account by a trusted reporter:

So, without further ado, let's get into news from across WeavenSong, Ant Mountain, and Spartant!
WeavenSong:
A strange fire has been seen coming from the observatory. Reports mention being overcome with a feeling of dread at seeing the fire, but soon returning to normal. The cause for concern is limited here, although it does beg to question how secure the colony is for dreadful fires to begin popping up.
In other news, construction on the old walnut has begun. Reports say a new ant by the name of 'Telva' has moved in and is setting up shop. May want to stop by and give a cake to the new neighbor!
Ant Mountain:
Fearless fighter Boopy has returned from a battle in WeavenSong unscathed and healthy. We are all glad to see you in good health and back home.
A mysterious stiffness has been observed in one ant. A self diagnosis claimed for it to be a fungus of some sort, but after professional observation, the truth was revealed to be a simple shifting to the pupa stage. Remember, if you aren't sure, it is best to see a doctor in case of unusual symptoms. We wouldn't want to cause an unreasonable panic, would we?
Spartant:
Tensions are on the rise as whispers of witchcraft and tunnel fungus spreads. It is said that it is mostly contained, but if you see any symptoms, it is recommended to be checked out by a licensed doctor.
A new, fresh lawyer is on the scene, offering all sorts of legal representation. They go by Sant Goodant or Ant 88.88. In these trying times, with tensions between Spartant and Ant Mountain increasing, it could be nice to have a lawyer on your side.
Multiple lost ants have been found and/or wandered home in their own. If you have had a lost family member, now is the time to check the "Found Ants" camp and see if your loved one is one of the lucky few to return home. The missing ant epidemic is raging on in Spartant and many point the blame to neighboring colonies, such as Ant Mountain.
