                   F I R S T  .   )         they    bonded    over    how    boys    are    ridiculous     &&      how    girls    are    snobs         (      well  ,      SOME    of    them    at    least      )         in    gym    class    .

                   S E C O N D  .  )         they    developed    their    own    personal    language    very    quickly    .            it    took    them    about    a    week    to    get    down    all    the    gestures      &&      looks    but    after    that    that    was    their    main    way    of    communicating    .

                   T H I R D  .  )         they’re    the    type    of    friends    where    everyone    thinks    that    they’re    dating    when    in    actuality    they    just    are    really    close    .            they    are    all    over    each    other’s    snapchat      &&      always    at    the    other’s    house   .

It was unclear as to exactly how this happened, but Rikki found herself in an unknown country. It wasn’t exactly as what she had hoped for, but for now, she’ll take it. 

And being in this country, food was increasingly difficult to come across. Rikki resorted to pick-pocketing, and she hadn’t gotten caught yet. 

Her sights fell on a girl one cloudy day. She was very small, almost fragile, but dressed expensively--looking almost doll-like. Seemed like a perfect target for the mermaid, and hopefully she’ll get a good handful of foreign money.

Rikki approached her from the side where there was a perfect opening to the young girl’s bag. Her walk was casual, but she had to do this quickly--especially with the humidity hanging in the air, a foreshadow to rain. 

The blonde purposefully accidentally bumped into the other and immediately recited,

“Oh, sorry! My bad! My bad. I didn’t mean to bump into you there. I am so sorry. You’re not hurt, are you?”
