Happy End of the Year Celebrations to all of you!

We’re happy to announce the release of 2 new projects on this beautiful day:

First, we start in music. After all, Christmas is certainly a good day to discover new tracks and new artists. The following synth-SciFi soundtrack composed by Python Blue might not be totally in the spirit of Santa Claus, snow and fir trees, but his remix album will reach the heart of most Black Cube fans! Kel Leda was a demo created this year during a game jam. The Original Soundtrack was short, so this new arranged album is a welcome addition to the project. Enjoy and share!

  Then, we’d like to take this opportunity to introduce the 3rd and last episode of our scifi comics: “ANTERRAN Day 0″ part 3 is now available for purchase! You can even consider taking all 3 episodes at once, now that this first series is finished. We will consider seriously working on the sequel if the project meets enough success, but now the future of planet Talifa is in your hands. Working on thee books with artist John Carvajal sure was a great and new experience. We definitely need you to show your interest in order to allow us to continue working on a new chapter in the ANTERRAN series.

Several of our projects started in 2017 and even before have made significant progress, and December has brought two surprises: the Kel Leda Remix album, and the ANTERRAN comics Episode 3. It would seem that 2018 will be an interesting year for new releases made in The Icehouse collective!

We can’t wait to show you the projects of our members Luminy Studios (Blue Moon, other surprises), Babel Studio (RealMyha, RoonSehv), Simon Says: Play! (Boïnihi, Mon Village est Magique), Similia (Anamedia, Enigmystica), RKT and Beckoning Cat, and we hope that we will be able to cooperate furthermore with our friends on new comics, short films, music and/or other artistic things.

Hopefully we will also meet new people who will be interested in joining our team of happy creators. We’re really looking forward to discover what awaits in 2018!

I just started Modes of Thought in Anterran Literature, and the first ep is so promising. I'm loving it so far.

Love the uni lecture aesthetic, and I'm also quite invested in the Anterran Civilization.

Every month, we try to share with you the progress of our collective, the different projects released and some pictures. February was a rich month, even if we can't always reveal our production secrets to you!

First there was the Movie Game Jam on itch. io. Participants were invited to create a demo/game inspired by a film they liked. At The Icehouse, two creators were inspired and released the following two mini-games:

Labyrinth: Created by Juanjo (Blurred Games), it invites us to solve a little puzzle: a password to find... in the world of The Maze Runner, the blockbuster movies where heroes, teenagers, are trapped in a gigantic futuristic complex, and have to survive alone with natural resources and their abilities. If the film is rich in action, in this prototype game you will have to make your head work and take notes, in order to decipher some mysterious symbols.

1941v1: This game created by our friend Yaz stands out for its pretty graphics in oil painting style. We're running a little plane with a drunkard flying in it! This comes straight from the 1941 film by Spielberg. Amateurs will recognize! In this game to try, you'll have to survive enemies, not crash into a tunnel, and keep your device under incredible rain gusts. All this without dying of thirst!

We take this opportunity to share with you two new Black Cube game trailers:

Boïnihi is a 2d puzzle/adventure game following ASA and Catyph, the first Black Cube games. In Boïnihi, modifications have been made to simplify the gameplay and make it more accessible. It will be shorter, easier, but we also think it will be more intense!

RealMyha was born from a successful Kickstarter, and the meeting between Simon (ASA, Catyph) and Denis Martin (RoonSehv). The two fans of Myst have joined forces to offer us the first full 3d game in the Black Cube series. Here is a new teaser by the sea.

Finally we are pleased to welcome a new Member, John Carvajal. John was already a faithful friend of the collective and we regularly shared his many illustrations with you. Since the creation of the comic strip Anterran, he has been increasingly active alongside us. In the coming weeks he will be in Japan, and we hope to present you many of his future sketches!
